how do i beat the parasite cage 2

i am having a hard time with this monster because of how long this monster lives and how much life he has. Do you guys have any tips for the part of monastro the whale.

I don't think that I did anything special. I would try to avoid getting in the stomach acid by jumping on the platforms. When he would poison me I would use a potion. As soon as he was knocked out with his mouth hanging open I would just attack him. As soon as he came to I would get out of the way. I tried to avoid his arms as best as I could. I don't remember much else from the battle so I don't know if I helped you too much. Good luck next time!

Basically, what I did was to stand on the platforms along the walls and blast it with fire magic. After that ran out, I would bash him until my MP came back, or use an Ether. Repeat and Cure as needed.

wow..its been awhile since i played kh1. use antidotes and magic, ethers when necessary. Besides that, just hack away.

To beat him, just stay clear of his arms by running around a lot, then before you hit him press jump. And when your health is low, use cure. It's as simple as that. If it doesn't work, just keep trying and eventually you'll beat that sucka.

keep running around on the platforms to avoid the parasite cage and the acid below. shoot fire at it until all your magic runs out, and either use an Ether/Elixir, or attack it with your Keyblade until your magic fills up again. then just repeat.

when it is knocked out and it sags over, make your move and attack with your Keyblade as much as possible. do your best to avoid the acid cause you'll move around on it while attacking (happens to me a lot).

keep an eye on your HP/MP and you should be fine.

1. At the start, jump on one of the platforms and go to the highest platform.

2. Jump towards his head and attack after he uses his poison gas.

3. Then keep on attacking until he gets stunned.

4. While he's stunned, heal until you get full health and attack until he recovers.

5. When he recovers, jump back to one of the platforms and repeat steps 2-5 until he dies

I would advise you to save your mp for cure. You can use fire/fira but do not waste your mp only using fire/fira.

Yep. Agreed with all. The trick is to just keep playing, don't give up. After a while, you'll learn how to dodge his attacks, or at least minimize the damage from them, either from accident or from actual skill.

I had problems with that too,hehe I can't remember that I used a teqnique, but I leveled up a bit tried the best I could to avoid it's attacks and falling down in the acid. Other than that I was just smashing buttons until it was dead

it took me a few tries to learn its attacks, but i beat it using the dumbo summon. it works against anything it can attack you with

simba has his proud-roar attack. you can load it up till it's a powerfull attack.
genie casts some magic. power according to the level of the spell.



i beated parasite by training much and jumping on the platforms till i am by his back. then i smach his back till he faint for a while. here i heal and attack more.
one more thing: WATCH OUT FOR HIS STIP ATTACK!!!

i just attacked him head on and healed appropriately. the acid hurts a lot so be careful, i do not actually remember being hit by poison, maybe that is only if you go to the platforms?

There's really not much to it. I doubt you'll even have to heal that much. Just jump on the platforms and hit his head multiple times. Honestly, just hit and run. You shouldn't lose that much health if you step in the acid. You should just jump from platform to platform and when he turns around to see where you are, the minute he spots you, leap up and hit him before he can do his Acid Breath attack. I used a strategy that always worked. I always summoned Genie. When he lays back and his "Heart" (?) (that purple orb) is revealed use Genie to cause some massive damage. You'll have him beat in no time.

*To see his health, you have to equip Scan. You should have it by now.

1. Try not to get hit by the poison cloud[dodge roll, jump to one of the platforms, etc.]
2.Mostly stay towards the back of the arena when it attacks.
3. When it's done attacking, hit it as many times as you can, then retreat to the rear of the arena
4. Mostly, just hit and then run, dodge, and if you're poisioned either heal or use a poison.
5. Not much else to it.

 

[Endless]

This boss is a little bit harder but nothing has really changed in terms of how to go and beat this sucker. Although the location has changed you must watch out for the stomach acid lying around and be sure to not stay in one place for awhile. Remember to start out right in its face doing air jumping combos and it'll do its slap attack, move to its sides and attack while Donald and Goofy try to distract it. About halfway through the battle, the Parasite will change its attacks and grab onto the ceiling and do a modify kick....you need to watch out for this move it is the most damaging. But the strategy of this boss is basically the same from before, attack up front, avoid attacks, and use potions when needed. It's a pretty short battle so you should be done with him in no time - you'll come out the winner.
