Welp, that's how the current RP climate is like. You either be persistent or make something good and well-established enough that people will not only join it but remain active in it.Thank you OmniChaos, (why does that name ring a bell...?) but like I said, depends on the reception I get. I don't plan on making any RP's anytime soon...Last time I posted up a good one and no one joined...
sam making khi/kh2.net watAnd yeah, I figured Sam might be retired. If I recall, he was the one who started this site.
It was being restructured, and has been recently re-implemented.Back in August I did apply for the RP Academy but there was something about that I don't remember.
Something a little like an in-character foyer section. Of sorts.What's the Roleplay Tavern?...Also, I knew you by another name, didn't I dude?
Don't rely on the fact you were around in something approximating a 'golden age', and don't bother to advertise it either, because those that were around then don't really care, and those that weren't don't know about it, so either way it doesn't matter much. You'll fit in just fine if it can be seen that you work hard and/or produce good stuff.

@Orion
Thanks for some of the info....
But...You're the second mod to give me a somewhat harsh welcome. It's cool. We all have off-days.
Sorry, some miscommunication on my part. I see people describe themselves as 'veterans' as though it's something special and that colours my perception of them. I meant it purely as advice, not as an attempt to - say - denigrate you for being a 'veteran'.And yeah, with Orion I figured, but still. It came across to me as harsh. He didn't need to sugar coat it, but he didn't need to make the comments he did either. Get what I'm trying to say?
I think I did mention that the count corresponding to posts themselves would have been lost over multiple thread/section moves/deletions, but if you talk to Shamdeo about it, and really do have the number written down somewhere, he might be sympathetic enough to set that number for you.Also...My post count is still stuck at the number 63. That thing's busted. Said it earlier in this thread, but I had like over 10,000 posts back when I left. I had the exact number written down somewhere.
Any idea as to who to talk to about getting my post count back? I don't mind if I can't get it back, but the being stuck at 63 is...Well, starting to bug me. I feel the need to hit it like a TV with picture issues. XP
