No. Auron was in his late 30's mid 40's in FFX. Tidus was 17. They have made Auron younger already. They have made him as young as he should be compared to everyone. (Wakka, Tidus)So no. He should definatly NOT be 14. Auron and Tidus's age were definatly not that close. Common sence. Just take a look at the two.

There ages are....right.

If you look at Auron in FFX he has gray hair.
If you look at him in KH2 he has black hair, and don't even try to say its light grey, thats a shine. Being an artist, i know this.

It's simple to see. There ages are right.

Auron has been dead for quite some time before the Events of FFX took place. I believe about 10 years dead to tell you teh truth...

But you have to remember that KH doesn't have anything to do with the FF games they just had characters. So Tidus and Wakka were on teh island, but so was selphie, and she wasn't even in FFX...

Bah, "th" cannot be written using japanese characters; so her original name is probably Aerisu or something very similar. The S-E main office is no genius either when it comes to romanizing (converting japanese characters to roman ones) their character names- Laguna of FFVIII, for example, is spelled the exact same way as "Ragna[rok]" in japanese, and S-E Japan romanized that.
