Help on FF8

I was playing FF8 and i went to this lake and it ask me if i would hum or throw a rock so i humed and then it ask me again and i pivked throw the rock and i told me to find the monkey in the wood and i can't find it. HELP

I'm pretty sure that that is just a sidequest...and one that I never did. I don't have the faintest idea of what you're talking about so I can't help you out. What you could try, is going to www.gamefaqs.com and finding a walkthrough on FFVIII. Then you just have to read what you have to do and you're done.

I'm pretty sure it is on gamefaqs but I'll look around a little bit to help you. And it iis a side quest, I've done it before. It is long and tedious.

pshh I beat FF8 and I do remember the monkey and obel lake. He is playing FF8.

It is a stupid side quest that in the end you will find some ruins and then squall will say: this must be rests of an ancient civilisation" something like that and its not the Papu Papu quest!

Nope, it's the Obel Lake mystery sidequest. A long, monotonous and annoying one... >.< It gave me a headache. It really isn't worth doing, btw.

If I remember, the monkey is hidden in one of the forests near the top of the lake. I don't remember what it was called, but if you want to find him, make sure you have "No Encounters" equipped and just walk around in there until he answers.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think the forest near Dollet is where the monkey is hiding. I never went further than that, it annoyed me too much.

Yup, and then you have to throw stones at it! and yet you have to go to the places where the lake tells you to go! And then it gets more complicated....

But if you want to completly "beat the game" and get all the cards, you will get the pupu.

Don´t you get pupu from seeing him in all the different places and then you have to go to balambs impactcrater or something and give him mega or has it normal elixir, to get the card?
