Heartless balls/gems

In the Jump Fiesta trailer, we see new types of gems/balls, like HP balls and Money balls. Now, they are Heartless Balls... I wonder... What do you think what purpose it has?!

Yeah I think those are jsut bombs that the dragon boss is droppin on Sora and company. Nothing special just bombs with the heartless symbol on them.
