Cmon guys...it's their Somebody's names scrambled up with an X added. For example: Roxas = Sora with an X

Why do you think that is

the X probably has some sort of meaning behind it, or it might just be the letter that allows them to make their names look really neat.

um, yeah, if you take the X out of their names and unscramble the letters it will make their 'true' name...but i think everyone already knew that

Okay, then. Yep. As a symbol of being in the Organization, each member scrambles their somebody's name and adds an 'x'.
We know most of their original names, but not all. Some can be found in Jiminy's Journal.
