Has anyone mastered the egg cracking minigame?

The Egg Cracking Part of the Cooking Minigame was a little Too Hard for me

Never had a problem with the eggs. It was always the pepper. Mmm, I haven't played in a while, but isn't there a vibration indicator of some sort? Maybe there's a trick in that... or others can offer a better solution.
