Back when I owned this game, I was pretty much the only person in town who owned it. So I never got to play against anybody.
If you dont play a link battle, it isnt like you are missing out on anything. Nothing for the story.
True all thats for is to show how much better you are then your friend =D Always use cards with the number 0 never lose! (i you use them right)
I have done it before. It's fun up to the point where you find out that your Enemy Cards do different things, but once you find out that alot of the stuff can be used against you as well, and if you play only against one person it will get very old/boring quickly.
I wouldn't reccomended it unless your really dying to try it once, but after I did it, I just play the story line instead.

that showed the basics of it, but the video wasn't real battle. Personally, ive wanted to use link battle, but I got over it rather quickly. It just never looked like something really groundbreaking.
I didn´t so far but I dont think it would be that fun after all.^^
