Well i have been trying to start servers for my friends and i to play on but every time i make a server no one can find it on the server selection thing. It doesnt even appear. I have been asking around but no one knows what is wrong with my computer. So if anyone can help me that would be great...

umm... i don't really know why it does that... check your router, if using one, and open up whatever ports are needed.
well thats the problem alot of people would tell me to do that but then i would say i didnt understand how to do it and thats when they would just tell me its to hard to explain and then they would just leave me alone... no one has told me how to do it so i dont understand.... i know what a router is but everything else i have no idea.
may i suggest unplug and replug everything in and see how that works?
well this is my mom's computer... my computer doesnt have internet yet cause i need some wireless conection to the modem upstairs. and that costs alot... so unless my needs to unplug and replug everything i highly doubt it will happen... but thanks anyways...
