Greatest disappointment in KH2?

IDK I was pretty convinced.

After all, Goofy was hit by a big boulder, and sent slamming into a rock side.

Then, when he came back, I realized something. Normal things that may hurt, maim or kill us have no affect on video game characters.

I noticed this as well, and thought it tore away another fiber of the feel of KHI.

Disney wont kill Goofy, Disney wont kill any mainstream Disney characters (IE. Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Etc.) in KH ever, that's what the viliians and Bishies are for. Do you honestly think you'd be more depressed watching Donald/Goofy get cacked as say when you watch a character like Axel die? Feh, no. I laughed when Goofy got smacked by the boulder. I was all 'haha, he'll be back in two more cutscenes to dramatically save the day' and he did. -_-

Another reason Disney wont ever kill off any mainstream characters is for the simple fact that without someone like Mickey, their Icon, there would be no more KH. Everyone says that KH is Sora's game, but really it isn't. You may play as spikers, but the mouse sets the story and the setting. Without Disney, KH becomes Final Fantasy, not KH.

The game was horribly easy, even on proud mode. KH1 was harder. But non the less, its still a game that everyone has in their minds.

I mean it has potential! If we didnt believe that KH had potential, then this site would have been lost or never made.

As much as I agree, there's the other half of my mind that says 'hey guys, did you know fanboys/fangirls kill video games?'. Though their characters may have been more built if we had gotten a better look at their personalities and interaction, but that's where Days comes in. Personally I'd rather have Watanabe work on the delicates such as character development. We wont be let down, or at least I hope so.

You're right, but I have the sneaking suspicion that the game will let down a few people because of their high expectations and let's face it no game is perfect. People will always find something to complain about. I can see it all now, 'random character is portrayed outside of what the fans think is right and bitching flaming ensues. It never fails. :<

Well, we've already had it with KH2 Axel compared with CoM Axel I suppose XD;;; so I can't say I won't do it, but...
Well, with Axel, at least we had something to base our past opinions about as opposed to the rest of the Org that lived after CoM. Thankfully, I never tried characterizing the Org too much, personally :3

I do agree that the fans' perception of said characters will probably ruin them. Just about everything regarding the personalities of the Org. have been fan-made. That's why it's wierd playing Beast's Castle and seeing sober Xaldin.

So long as people keep in mind that that is the canon and it's their problem for believing otherwise, we'll be fine.
But of course I'm laughing hard now since that'll never happen. They'll actually give the org character and personalities and not get them pregnant despite being male, thus enraging close to the entirety of the fangirls community >_>
