.....yeah, but his 'He made me feel like I had a heart' pre-death speech kind of killed it.

It was a wonderful moment of victory for the Akuroku/Akuso fans though. :L

And even in his death, they neutered it even further by cutting out the flames engulfing him in the releases outside of Japan.

I personally never saw why people complained about the flames. It was about the least important part of his death scene, imo.

Though I too admit that Nojima KH2's Axel <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Watanabe CoM's Axel.

Gotta say it, but Axel was incredibly gay in KHII. I hated it. They took this fycho bastard and made him a pining sissy boy. Fanservice sucks and bites hard on the balls of fine gaming. It's an insult to the gaming community that actually plays games for the well built characters and gameplay and not pretty boys getting mushy on eachother. If I want boys kissing or being fluffy I can find it on Fanfiction.net. Keep it out of my video games Nojima, I don't want it.

I didn't mind the way Axel was in KH2.

However, there is a major difference between Axel in KH2 and Axel in CoM, and I think it's more than just being written by different people.

I'd like to believe that perhaps there was a reason for the difference- one that's highlighted in 358/2 Days.

there was. He's a lot crueler in CoM. and then he sacrafices his life for Sora in Kh2. BIG difference. But I like it... XDD

reflect. with that spell, any noob could win the entire game with no deaths. I epic destroyed Terra within 2 minutes with a combination of spamming reflega and Final Form. another thing. tie the spells in with the combos? how stupid are they? "attacking Lexeaus, he swings, Reflect!, now there's twice as much damage from the counter attack, plus the continued combo. it takes away the challenge. Terra would have been unstoppable without reflect and drives. and the only time drives were ever important, was in the final mix, when you needed them to get through the cavern of rememberance!
