What games do you love, but have the most screwed up mini games? I'm taking about the mini games not only completely redirecting game mechanics , but have terrible controls. Dead Space the firetrucking asteroids, FFX the damn chocobo bird/ balloon dodging, stupid foot race in FFXII. I like when they advert a little from the main game mechanics for awhile but not when the controls are broken, and in no away is close to the main gameplay. It can turn a good game to a horrid frustrating one.

Someone has already said it but I have to go with the kingdom hearts series and Final Fantasy 7.

God of War 3 - that music minigame.
It wasn't difficult, just f*cking stupid and unnecessary.

FF X-- blitz ball or what ever it was called. I guess it had good potential but i didnt like it very much.

God, I hated the Blitzball mini game. Although, that might be because I sucked at it but it was so annoying to play through.
And IA with Voltorb Flip

Also, Mass Effect.

If you wanted to gather minerals (which are always in a big pile in front of you when you're to mine them) or checking a corpse (a fukken dead thing), you need to play a decryption minigame (which is actually just press-a-random-button-with-good-timing).

Basically all Final Fantasy games, except for FFVIII with Triple Triad.

Lol, you must not have played all FF games.

Because if you did, NOT ALL HAD MINIGAMES.

And BTW, Triple Triad isn't a minigame.

It's a game within the game.

It takes a LOT of time, and could have been its own game if SE cared.

When did I say all FFs had mini-games? Maybe I worded it incorrectly though so I guess it's my fault.
I played all main FFs aside from FFXI. But I don't think I have done all mini-games. Big chance I skipped a few of them if they were optional.

I still dislike all the ones I have done.
