Okay, thank you for the long answer!^ No, not really. You can adjust the camera by moving you`r controller as you are flying, and that is not really needed.
Hmm, I guess it depends. It took me about a week to complete the first game. If you wonder around the city and play with you`r powers, do all of the challenges and side-missions, the game has substantial length. I really recommend both the first game and the second one. The first game was truly and unique and personal adventure, something you won`t see everyday. The art style is very unique, controls are tight and the overall gameplay is fun, the soundtrack is freaking amazing, and the plot and the characters are good.
Ahh, it's nice you can turn it off. 25-30 hours, huh? Nice! Then I'll have something to play throughout the holidays. You can turn off gyro controls in the menu so no, you don't have to use motion controls. The first game is, on average, about 12-15 hours long. The sequel is about 25-30 hours long.

I like how the game first tries to fool you with the credits and everything that it has come to and end, but clearly there was more. It was cool that you had to activate the final chapter/story mission yourself by talking to the Electritice.
The ending gave an answer to most of the questions I was hoping for, like Kat`s origin, what is at the top of the pillar, Alias`s identity and etc... my small complaints are that stuff like Electiritice came a bit out of nowhere and were not explained more. I was also curious about Raven`s past but since there is a dlc about her coming up, we will probably get some light on that there. I also wonder how the angle transformation works... The foreshadowing of Cecie being an angel was great, since she had that little angel doll.
The last fight against the manifestation of the Destructive Force of the world was great. I guess that was the one lurking at the bottom of the pillar that was talked about in the first game, and the one that gave the little King the idea to destroy everything. The bit where you are in first person and all of the townspeople start to sing the "A Red Apple Fell From The Sky" was cool.
I wish I had watched the ending or some parts of the first game again before playing the sequel, since I had forgotten some important details. Like the red orb seen at the end which contained Kat`s recorded message. There were other small things as well.
I liked the part in the Castle, it was a cool mind-diddly sequence. The book that was given by one of the senators was interesting. I first thought it was basically forcing down the idea that you should never leave the tower, but learning about the senators true intentions later, maybe it really acted as to implement the idea of "better to die free than be caged" into Kat`s head.
I guess the ending hints that Kat is live after all, since the last photo has a shadow of Kat?
Spoiler ShowAt where does this dlc take place in the timeline? At first thought that it happened after the events of GR2`s story, and confirmed that Kat indeed returned back in the end. But then Dr. Brahman is alive so this must have taken place somewhere before the incident with Kali, and before Brahman revealing his true colors to Kat...?
