Ok guys for this one i want you guys to come up with an ORIGINAL ... LARGE CANVAS ... splash thingy.... it can be anything but it has to be STOCKLESS, vectors dont count as stocks, and i wanna stress this NO DOWNLOADED BRUSHES, i wanna see what you guys can do without the help of someones brushes...i wanna see your own stuff... only thing that'll be downloaded would prolly be the text but thats fine...

Here's pretty much what I did:

1. Start out with a 500x500 size and fill it with black.
2. Do a couple of lense flares, 50-300mm Zoom. I did them at the bottom left corner, middle of the bottom, and middle of the left.
3. Do a chrome with a detail of 4 and a smoothness of 7.
4. Select all, copy.
5. Paste
6. On the pasted layer, do a wave with default settings, randomize until you get something you want.
7. Set it to Lightern.
8. Repeat steps 5 and 6, set it to lighten.
9. Paste again, but this time do a Twirl at 200. Set to lighten.
10. Paste again, twil again, this time at -200. Set to lighten.
11. Color it, using whatever method you prefer. I did a new layer, filled it with a forest green, then set it to Soft Light.
12. Paste the merged image on a new layer.
13. Set the new layer to Color Dodge, about 80-100% opacity, whatever looks good.
14. This is optional, but I then pasted the merged image on a new layer again and messed around with the dodge and burn tools. The top part of mine was really dark, so I lightened it up.

Actually, I did find a tut on this, but I had discovered it myself before I ever saw the tut. I guess some do think alike.
