I find it easier to tell if you are friends with the person or if you know the person, because then you can look for changes in behavior, of course that all depends on the person in question.

Yeah, even more so if they ask you "what kind of girls do you like?" I agree its easier when you've hung around them for a while.

As for people you don't know, well based on my personal experience, they tend to quickly glance at your face and distracted eyes, then focus on something else, then do it once more before they get caught. Silly girls, like we don't know what's going on. But I guess we guys are not any better. But I wouldn't go be a ham about it.lol Its subtle, but noticeable.

If the eyes make contact and lock while movement is slight, you got yourself a situation. I wouldn't go be a ham about it. Perhaps saying something simple yet appealing may do the trick. But that's based on my understanding.
