There goes anyone of my childhood actors. :< Although the movie was released almost 25 years before I was born, I still watched it when I was a child and sang to Pure Imagination.

May he forever rest in peace.

Wow, he was a true talent. I still remember the first time I watched Willy Wonka as a kid.

Truly a sad passing, but he's fortunate to have lived quite a long time. I really appreciate his works, this is a tough one to swallow.

2016 really diddlying sucks, man.

Now, now. We must take death, as well as life, with quiet dignity and grace.

Then again, we all deal with grief differently.

Didn't Gene Wilder star in a film with some African American actor that both pretended to be KKK members?

I believe the movie was called Brazen Saddles.

Nobody beats Gene Wilder as the original Willy Wonka, right?

@Laeril: Rage against the dying of the light, man. Death is sad. Death is angering. Death is hard to take with quiet dignity for a significant amount of people.

Also the movie you guys are talking about is called Blazing Saddles.
