In Japan, The Master is voiced by Joseph Joestar.

Over here, The Master is voiced by Noctis.

Imma start making a whole lot of jokes with this.

It kinda explains why the MoM decided to go with an animal theme for his little band of followers, I suppose.
(I got nothing on Joseph Joestar tho)

Wow, the English dub of Back Cover sounds absolutely amazing. I can't stop smiling, listening to them all talk about chi things--I never thought that we'd ever see some form of X fully-animated and voiced. :biggrin:

Though, hearing them reference the Strength Bangle (guilt) near the beginning, I can't help but wonder if NAUx will ever stealth-edit "Special Attack Bonus" back into "Guilt". I also find it rather amusing to imagine Chirithy's cutesy voice on the Nightmare Chirithy from X.

Yeah, they replaced both her and Gatomon so I was surprised to see her listed here.

Sugita's performance was amazing. But every time he spoke I kept thinking why is Gintoki talking about Kingdom Hearts lol

The English cast was also great as well!! It really feels like the voice direction has improved greatly for 2.8, which is already a good sign for KH3.

I CRACKED. I listened to a bit of it in English. Really fantastic work. This is probably the best voice work and direction from the series yet. Ray Chase is a delight, which isn't surprising since he was also really fantastic as Noctis in FFXV.

Lara only takes union jobs these days (which is understandable), and Digimon Tri was unfortunately not one of them.

OMFG RAY CHASE AS THE MASTER!? HOW DID I MISS THIS!?

The voice of Noctis is in a Kingdom Hearts game. We are coming full circle now.

Not to mention he was also Edgar in Word of Final Fantasy. That actually surprised me, as I never would have guessed he was all three of those characters.

Isabela Moner as Ava? Okay, wow that's young. Then again, we don't know how old the Foretellers and the keyblade wielders are.
As for Lara, all I have to say is another Digimon voice talent joints the KH family.​

I think I have to agree with a lot of the sentiment being expressed here, This is one of the best voice casts in the series thus far. Ray Chase really kicked it out of the park for me with MoM. Still think KH1 is very close, but after watching the dub all the way through, I think Back Cover probably raised the bar.

I just finished watching Degrassi Next Class on Netflix and I had a little freakout when I saw that a majority of the actors are a few years younger than me and now I feel like I haven't accomplished anything and the next generation is already coming to force me to retire at the old age of 21.
