Am I the only one that just absolutely dreads the idea of Frozen being in KHIII? I feel it would be completely fan service based on the fact that they are already including BH6 and Tangled so it would all be the same animation style like someone already mentioned so I just don't see the point in adding it. I know lots of people love Frozen but when I finally saw it I didn't think it was deserving of the hype I just didn't feel like it was that good. The story was flat and predictable, had they actually gone with the Snow Queen story it is based on I feel it could've been a lot better. While I would love to see Wreck it Ralph I don't think its going to make it in KHIII :/ it would be totally awesome to be in Sugar Rush and Heroes Duty though and them being connected through an arcade would be really cool as well!

I'm just gonna throw out that I'm not a huge Frozen fan myself to begin with but...

I'm sure you're not...

... Hasn't stopped them before. Besides, BH6, Frozen, and Tangled are all visually distinct. It wouldn't be like the worlds' aesthetics would look too similar... you've got your standard fantasy kingdom, a fantasy kingdom in a blizzard, and an American-Japanese hybrid city. Not too similar if ya ask me.

If you want flat and predictable, check out some of the older Disney princess movies. lmao

On a more relevant note, Frozen's potential as a KH world shouldn't be discounted just because the movie was overhyped to Oblivion and back. The story can change; even though this sort of thing doesn't happen too often nowadays, it's possible that the story could take a completely different direction a la KH1, Space Paranoids, or Beast's Castle. The world itself... man oh man, they could do SO MUCH with it. And thanks to Unreal Engine 4, it could look downright breathtaking. Oh, and what better way to obtain your elemental ice magic than to go through a world of ice magic?

Moreover, Frozen's most central themes could really resonate with KH. Crippling fear of yourself and your own power, heart shenanigans, true love that isn't necessarily the romantic variety... KH has played with those ideas before. Quite a few of our main characters could relate to what happens in Frozen. There's just too much potential all around for me to simply dismiss Frozen just 'cause I resent the overhype.

You are right visually it would be breath taking and the overall theme does lie in with KH pretty well. I think I just got lost in my rant of disliking the movie lol but if they do go ala KHI style with changing the story I think I would enjoy it a lot more than going along with the story of the movie. Either way I think as long as they do it right I won't hate it.
Also completely forgot about old Disney Princess movies there for a second they are pretty flat lol then again I wasn't much of a Disney Princess girl besides Jasmine as a kid anyways XD

Very strongly agree with this. I'm in no way a fan of the movie, I even downright hated it because of the blown out of proportion hype the movie got. But I still think it would fit perfectly in KH and be an extremely fun and visually spectacular world. Not to mention the chance to roam around large snowy mountains and huge castles.

I suppose I'll cast my vote into the popular opinion as well: Not really a big fan of the film, but thoroughly endorse its adaptation potential in both aesthetics and larger plot threads. How that adaptation might work out will remain a mystery until we have a better understanding on how the set-up to the story will go.

I also like thinking about the possibility of fighting Marshmallow as a mid-level boss.

This is baloney. Wreck-It Ralph would work perfectly for Kingdom Hearts (the scenario of entering to the world would be similar to that of Tron). Besides, the movie is called Sugar Rush in Japan, so you know, it'd primarily be centered on the Sugar Rush world.

I can imagine Sora, Donald and Goofy being transported into the arcade world from a Twilight Town arcade because of King Candy.

As I stated in the 'Pixar Worlds' thread, as the most popular film of the century, Frozen isn't likely, it's a guarantee. The TV series Once Upon a Time, didn't hesitate a moment to use it in their mishmash of Disney inspired worlds, so I expect the same of SE.

For a Wreck-It-Ralph world, I don't believe cameo characters will be an issue because only one of the likely areas of focus, Game Central Station, will require characters outside the original cast.
Apart from that, it would just be Fix It Flix Jr, the introduction area at which Sora enters, is told Ralph "has gone Turbo" and takes on the job of going after him and Sugar Rush, the primary location of the storyline.
Game Central Station would just be a transfer point. So not many cameos would be required but I'm sure SE owns enough of their own characters to thrown in if they are not able to use the ones from the film.

I could see Sora leaving Fix It Felix Jr. with Felix as a party member, perhaps his magic fixing hammer was reprogrammed by the organization to act as a keyblade to provide them with hearts but is still able to "heal" Sora's digital essence.

I'd say seeing Riku and Elsa have a good heart to heart discussion over their past mistakes would make a Frozen world totally worth it.

If they don't have this in Frozen's world story I will be very disappointed.

When I made this thread I wasn't thinking logically of all the things they could do. After I made this thread, I now realize my mistakes. Wreck-it Ralph would be flipping amazing.

The big thing standing between Wreck-It Ralph and Kingdom Hearts is the licensing issue, due to all the other properties in Wreck-it Ralph. If it were included in KH3, it would be a seriously toned down version of the movie, with tons of the cameos and references removed. For example, I don't imagine the popping "!" from Metal Gear Solid or Sonic's little "Don't Die" message would be allowed to appear in KH3 if a Wreck-tt Ralph world were made. It would probably be strictly original content from that movie, so Sugar Rush, Fix-it Felix, and Hero's Duty. If they included Game Central Station, it'd be empty and void of NPCs. But hey, that's nothing new for a KH game.

As for Frozen, it's my most wanted world for KH3, so bring it on.

for WIR, it would make sense to focus on the original properties and they can trim the cameos as well as extending them to disney and ff games [sora sees kingdom hearts machine and becomes aware, renouncing his humanity]. ahem. not to mention, what if sora found a tron machine inside game central which would be inside radiant garden or twilight town (inception).

WIR would be an amazing crossover property for disney's ultimate crossover property.

If it doesn't end up being a world (which has a 50/50 chance as of now, I don't know why it has to be between WiR and Frozen) then I would really love the characters as summons. It would be enough for me, then they can save it as a world for KH4, sine I'm hoping KH won't run out of movies to use by then and be stuck using mostly TV shows and sequels.

This is one thing I'm curious about, given that all the games so far have only been part of a single saga, and there's more to come. How long can this keep going, really? The pool of Disney movies is diminishing, and eventually KH will be having Disney Channel worlds. Although, at the rate Disney has been making quality films, maybe we'll never run out of good worlds. What we really need is for Pixar stuff to get the green light. That'll expand things greatly, even though there's still a decent amount of Disney stuff to draw from at the moment. But if the next saga goes as long as this one has, they'll run out fast.

I'm hoping there will be a Frozen world. I haven't seen the movie, but a snowy winter world would look beautiful in the new engine.

It is interesting to see what they'll be doing with the Disney worlds in the future titles. And if there really will be KH4 someday. But I'm not really a fan of all these new Disney movies and I'll probably never get tired of replaying the KH games we already have, so if it was up to me, I'd end the whole series with KH3. It's not going to happen, but as long as KH3 is as good as it has all the potential to be, I would be very happy if it did.

Given that Nomura and co said that they like to not have worlds that look similar to each other, Frozen being an icy world further increases its already very high chances of being in the game since there aren't a lot of ice worlds to pick from. Currently, we have a forest-castle area with Tangled, a cityscape with Big Hero 6, a mountain area with Mount Olympus, the familiarity of Twilight Town, and with Frozen we'll have a snow world. So it'll stick out and be memorable like the team wants.

If Kingdom Hearts III meets/exceeds my expectations, I will be eternally pleased forever. Any and all future videogames, whether KH or not, will have permission to be letdowns because KH3 did its job.
