Why would God make miracles for some people who are well-off and not others who are in desperate need?

If God does not intercede to help those that suffer, how can he make miracles?

Some people are gonna be fine no matter what even if they are in a depressing mood. Some people don't know how to deal with the time so they are the ones who need the help.

God intercedes all the time on the behalf of his children. Just because it's not the parting of the Red Sea doesn't make it any less of a miracle.

Sometimes he allows people to suffer so that they may grow from the experience. Other times he allows it so that those suffering can be a witness against those who cause the suffering at the Final Judgement.

That was on a side note speaking about if Jesus was dead or not at the time when he was jabbed in the side when upon the torture stake.

It is still false to claim that there is overwhelming evidence for it.

that's not an argument that was used either

"No other book has been subjected to such vigorous attempts to destroy it as has the Bible. Yet, it still exists and this, at least in part, in over 2,000 languages. Both its physical preservation as a book and the preservation of its integrity manifest divine intervention. The Bible is truly a miracle!"

Doesn't sound like a loving God to me. Also, suffering does not always strengthen character, on the contrary, it often creates weakness.

It is still false to claim that there is overwhelming evidence for it.

How is that a false claim? It's saying that according to the Bible Jesus was dead. If anyone reads the Bible they'd see that the claim that Jesus was still alive when it happened is false. It's not saying that is proof that Jesus existed. It's just saying that according to the scriptures and careful analysis of them, Jesus was dead at that time which is contrary to what many believe the Bible says.

That's still not saying that "being old is proof". Besides, the whole quote goes like this -

No book enjoys such a wide circulation as does the Bible. Do you see in it a miracle? Can we attribute its existence to a “supernatural agency”? True, the Bible is a book written down by humans, but they claimed to have expressed the thoughts of God, not their own. (2 Samuel 23:1, 2; 2 Peter 1:20, 21) Think of it. They were some 40 individuals, living over a span of 1,600 years. They came from backgrounds as varied as those of shepherds, military men, fishermen, civil servants, physicians, priests, and kings. Yet, they were able to convey a unified message of hope that is both truthful and accurate.

Based on a careful study, Jehovah’s Witnesses accept the Bible, “not as the word of men, but, just as it truthfully is, as the word of God,” as the apostle Paul wrote. (1 Thessalonians 2:13) Their publications have over the years explained how so-called contradictions in the Bible can be harmonized with its overall message. This inner harmony is in itself a proof of divine authorship.*

No other book has been subjected to such vigorous attempts to destroy it as has the Bible. Yet, it still exists and this, at least in part, in over 2,000 languages. Both its physical preservation as a book and the preservation of its integrity manifest divine intervention. The Bible is truly a miracle!

It wasn't only speaking of lasting through the ages.

The wording is very misleading, then. It should say "biblical evidence". I understand context but it seemed to be conclusion-jumping.

That's still not saying that "being old is proof".

It's saying "because it has survived so long, the Bible must be of divine writ", which is the same thing.

It wasn't only speaking of lasting through the ages.

It also says it's written by people of various backgrounds, and the theme is strong and overpowers contradictions, both of which can be disputed/argued.
