First Game You Ever Played

Hard to say with regards to computer games (probably either some kiddy educational game OR minesweeper/solitaire xD), but the console game I remember as my earliest/first game played was a ninja turtles tournament/vs fighter game my cousin had us play when we were over at her grandmother's house for holiday get-togethers. xD I don't remember much except that I always played as a character named Aska. [one google search later] ...Apparently that means it was TNMT Tournament Fighters on the SNES, because that's the only one Aska's in? Well that was easy to figure out. xD
(Next in the timeline would be the first non-edu pc game I had, Claw. Followed by my first game system, gba sp, with the most notable game I got with it, Hamtaro Ham-Ham Heartbreak.)

I envy people who can remember this... let's just say it was Mario RPG. It's one of my favorite games ever: I believe I beat it on an actual SNES, and I beat on the Virtual Console and SNES Classic... Smithy and some of the bosses are rough if you don't grind... I totally abused the built-in save state feature to beat him (almost to the point of insanity), but it beats grinding.

Thinking back really hard, probably Age of Empires 2 or Heroes of Might and Magic 3, or Warcraft 3. It has to be either of these three as I have no memory of computer games before them.

Pretty sure it was Rival Schools on the PS1, but the first game I personally owned and played to completion was Sonic Adventure. I still love that game.

I have vague memories of playing Zool on an Acorn computer but the first game I really remember playing was Crash Bandicoot 2 on the PS1. My sisters and I would all play together and one of us would play until we died or beat a level then pass the controller. It was great. I can still remember where to find most of the secret areas and how to get the coloured gems.

@2 quid is good I remember watching someone play Sonic Adventure at a party and thinking it looked amazing. I finally got to play it years later on a PC version. My laptop was slow so it was a poor way to play it but I think it's a really good game too.

I played Orphan, the one where you're a sorcerer and your two students get seperated during a storm, and they start crushing on NPCs, so you have to help them. I never got farther than that, since it was on PS2 and I was missing the memory card.

I'd say my first set of games were Super Mario World, A Link to the Past, and Actraiser back on the SNES, soon followed by Chrono Trigger and FFVI. When the 64 and PS1 came out I was still pretty young so I'd also group Super Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Spyro and Crash Bandicoot together in that same "era" of the beginning of gaming for me. I played Super Mario World first though, and proudly beat it when I was only 4.

The first true games I played on PC were The Sims & The Longest Journey. FFXI was my first PC MMO

2nd game was Pokémon Red, also for Gameboy Color.

Somewhere in the mix was Lemmings for Mac (then Macintosh). Can’t remember when.

First console game I believe was Super Mario 64. I should replay that game...
