I'll say we're close to the future when they make hoverboards that work over water. But, this is a nice small step.

When we can fly over long distances without spending $500 to go someplace, then we will be truly advanced.

So are they going to build flying gas stations/rest stops, or are they going to just build giant towers? Or make people land??

I wonder how the safety issues will be handled.

It's about time.

Give it 15-20 years. Maybe by then we would have made enough progress to make modified versions of the plane/car commercial.
