It was exclusive for PS3. Now it's been moved to the PS4.
I think it's safe to say it's not for the Xbox.

Wasn't XIII announced as an exclusive for PS3?
They're either in talks to make it an exclusive/it's multiplatform.
They're trying to slay the X1, did you see the smirk what's his face had when they talked about no DRM? If it's secured as an exclusive, Sony would say so.

That was announced in 2009, like 3 years after that was said? It's been 7 years since Versus was made a Sony exclusive. Sure, it was shown at a Sony event, but I wouldn't have put it past Xbox to have tweeted after that trailer "BTW, XV is coming to Xbox as well!"

PS4/PS3 exclusive means it's not coming out on Xbox One.

lol, it's really hard to see that little "I" between the X and the V isn't it?

anyway, I hope it stay exclusive and same goes for KH III but it doesn't look like it with that wording unless they still discuss it.

The X1 may be on its best way to slay itself without these games being multiplatform, considering the always being online-stuff/must be online once every day to function, camera being always on spying on you like big brother (like George Orwells 1984), probably directly connected to the NSA and their Prism-program and no allowance for playing used games.
All things the new PS4 doesn't seem to have.

PS4 is also 100$ cheaper, and, correct me if I'm wrong, slightly more powerful than the X1.


I'm not saying KH3/XV WON'T be exclusives, I'm just saying we shouldn't assume they are. My bet is that they're still in talks for it to remain an exclusive title. Sony is probably throwing money at SE ATM.
Neither Microsoft or Sony can say it'll be multiplatform/exclusive until SE makes a decision.

I can confirm Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III are PlayStation 4 exclusives.

But I guess he was just deceived by the trailer but that means it could happen again

Anyway, I think it's gonna be PS4 exclusive. Wouldn't it be weird to announce both games specifically in the Sony conference and it ends up being multi-plat? If it is multi-plat, it would've made more sense to announce it at the Square-Enix conference, which will happen tomorrow I believe. So yeah my two cents.

Okay, so here we go!

I believe that Stella died when both she and Noctis were young.

This makes me think this is Stella's way of telling Noctis that she is dying. That there is no way of saving her.

It's as Stella said in the 2011 trailer; "When the goddess Etro opens the gates to welcome the souls of the fallen, the land of the dead will shine up to heaven. Sometimes there are those that can see the light. These people are gifted with powers from the land of the dead." They can both see the light, ergo, they can both see the dead. This goes hand in hand with this:

They have the eyes that see people who are dying. Stella died in her mortal body, however she has not passed through Etro's gate. That is why Noctis can see it. That is why no one else can!

It also appears Noctis has forgotten who Stella is ("Goodbye, whoever you are"). Is he saying goodbye to the angel that is Stella? Is he brushing her off as a random girl at the party? He also appears to not know or want this power to see the dead. Why has it come back now?

"Prince Noctis, you see the light too, right? Just like me."

From the 2011 trailer, we can see that Stella knows quite a bit about Etro's gate and seeing the light. However, she doesn't know that much on it. She's been dead all these years and have been trying to figure out why the gate hasn't opened for her. This does link in with this:

Here, Stella is saying "Maybe there is something I must do or accomplish." She might feel like she never fulfilled something in her life and she can not pass through Etro's gate. Anyway, back to the current trailer...

Stella's voice can still be heard. This furthers on the impression that she knew she was dying (Maybe she could see herself dying, since she could see extinguishing souls)

Death seems to play a big role in Final Fantasy XV. It seems as if this man can see the Light as well, except this time he can see the world is dying. He is plotting to wipe out all existence.

This is obviously the "bad" guys plotting to steal the crystal. Is this the same place from that Versus trailer where Noctis was being shot at?

Here we start the gameplay. To me, this feels like a tutorial/early level. You can see in the bottom left "Warp", "Attack" and "Link Form", as well as a range of weapons that Noctis can wield.

I have a feeling that Link Form refers to joining up with your allies and performing a special move, like what was done here:

However, it is Warp that is selected in this one:

So that might not be the case.

This is clearly warp though, obviously:

Here we have Noctis climbing an airship. There seems to be a minimap the player can bring up. It seems to show large area. Is this connected to the gameplay scene where Noctis is jumping across the roofs of peoples houses?

This scene is the same as the one from the 2011 trailer. Only this time, we can see there are many more people present. We also get a motive, and the objective for the man in white.

I'm not sure if we ever learnt Noctis' father's name, but it has been revealed here:

Here we seem to have the cast of Final Fantasy XV. It seems to be split into two sections. The "Good guys" on the left and the "bad guys" on the right. But notice how Stella is also on the right?

And there is a second woman there? Could this be the same lady as we've seen before, only with black hair now?

Forgive me if I'm uninformed, but since XV seems to reference the goddess Etro (according to your analysis) quite a bit, does this mean that XV does in fact take place in the same universe as XIII ?

Until today, Final Fantasy XV was called Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

The XIII games were all part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series where they all shared the same mythos. It seems that, even though it got promoted to XV, it still contains the myths.

I always assumed that versus XIII took place on Pulse in the distant past, before Cocoon was created, and was going to explain what happened to Pulse and why Cocoon was created in the first place.

But with the title change, I'm not so sure the games will be that closely linked anymore.
