This is My Story, and I’ll Save Her—I’ll Save Them All--No Matter What…
Name:
Hope Oormi
Age:
22
Gender:
Female
Race:
Human
Appearance:
Hope
Personality:
A girl whose selflessness is what drives her through the pain and her journey. She wishes to save her sister from her corruption, and finds it her personal duty to save the rest of the oppressed summoners despite not having many talents. She is responsible and always calm, always thinking ahead. She knows she's weak but won't give up because she knows that when she does, it'll all be over. She is polite to all but doesn't like putting her trust in anyone, nor does she like accepting help very often. In that sense she is stubborn and not easy to convince once she makes up her mind.

In a way she tries desperately to be the hero that she read about sometime ago. She thinks Spira is being unfair and that Lady Yuna would weep if she saw what was going on. She takes things much too seriously, hardly cracking a smile, though sarcasm is her second language, and she doesn't like being tricked or being lied to. It's hard enough to get her damn trust, so don't mess it up if she gives it to you. She also has a high standard for who does get on her good side, and will leave if you don't live up to her standards.

Bio:
Where could things have gone wrong?

Hope hardly remembered anything from the experiments--only pain existed in her memories. Her sisters died one after another, though she was kept 'alive' because she had potential. So when her summon came, of course they were disappointed--and from then on she remembered arriving at Remiem Temple. She heard voices, though they became faint once Faith accepted them. Afterwards, it was mostly a blank, but one thing she remembered was her only living sister gone.

And she cursed her own weakness.

Her summon, who called itself Mog, assured her that she did not wrong, and offered to become her guide to obtain the legendary Final Summon--something only spoken of in the myths. He told her that it could be the way to make the people see things her way--to obtain power.

It was then that she packed her things and went to Djose, to train and become stronger where she could. The experiments had literally stripped her of any magic capability, so she had to rely on her body for power. After several years, she and Mog deemed her ready, and so began her journey to save her sister--and the summoners--from Spira's hatred. During this time she got herself a guardian of sorts, and decided to let him tag along for the sake of it.

Equipment:
Celeste Bow - A bow she made herself.
Elegant Armor - An expensive armor won from one of the tournaments she participated in.
Starting Aeon:
Mog the Moogle
--Exactly what he looks like--a Moogle, a creature from fairy tales. Because of his appearance, many do not realize that he is an Aeon, and thus he can safely accompany Hope wherever she goes. He is able to locate other summoners, as well as being very knowledgeable in Spira's terrain somehow. He can cast three spells: Cure, Regen, and Protect.

Summoner abilities:
She is somehow able to always keep Mog at her side. Whether this is her own will or Mog's is up to speculation
Other Skills:
As an archer, Hope fights with her bow and arrows. She is agile and has a long range of fighting, though in one on one battles she will resort to physical attacks. She is also talented with potions and such, having dabbled in Alchemy more than once.

[Mix
Aim

Extra Info:
  • She sees Mog as a trusted companion, and loves poking his pom-pom
  • She loves meat
  • She hates vegetables
  • She is afraid of the dark
  • Loves sleeping
  • Hates waking up (seeing a pattern?)
  • Loves star-watching

Well not necessarily, Tony. If Icy is going to be using the FFX version of bahamut then its fine. Darkfyre has himself a custom Bahamut, so it doesn't cause any problems ^^

Yes, I'm using FFX ver. of Bahamut.

NPC 1 Right here. Will add it to my NPC post~

Name: Jarik Exiled
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Race: Ronso no more. Now called Exiled.

Appearance: <--Clicky

Personality: Jarik is an Exiled of pride. Jarik does not think Jarik is strongest. Jarik knows Jarik is strongest. Among those respected, Jarik contains this pride and shows humility. Among those who oppose the Exiled, Jarik holds nothing back. Humans are weak. Guado are blind. Al Bhed are arrogant. All of these races are held back by their own weakness. That is how Jarik sees them all.
Jarik will face each and every one of Jarik's opponents with nothing but Jarik's best.

Jarik's one drawback (as he sees it, anyway) is Jarik's inability to face young ones in battle. Jarik feels it is too early for them to seek battle with Jarik, as it would only lead to their early grave. However, with the war at hand, Jarik will have to face this conflict should the orders be given. Only question is, what is stronger; Jarik's pride as an Exiled, or his compassion for young ones?

Bio: Jarik Ronso was treated with great pride among the warrior Ronso of Mt Gagazet. Battling fiends not even the greatest of Ronso could face, Jarik rose in the ranks as the strongest Ronso of this era. Jarik in return held great pride for his fellow Ronso, swearing to protect their Sacred Land and ways with every ounce of Jarik's strength. However, it was this very same conviction the drove Jarik to be castaway by those he swore to fight for.

Fed up with the other races of Spira looking down on the proud Ronso race, Jarik was one of the few who committed a taboo in order to gain power. By awakening the Forbidden Lancet, these Ronso were cast off from Mt. Gagazet and lost their part in the tribe. Now calling themselves the Exiled, they seek to restore their Ronso name and forge a place in Spira. Battling the other Factions, the Exiled's new power has allowed them to surpass the limits, making even one Exiled impossible to defeat without a large force.

Jarik is no exception, his physical prowess only amplified with the abilities Jarik can steal from the Aeons and Machina. Jarik has been assigned the task of seeking the Fragments of Sin before the other Factions. The details of this mission are too Lancet their abilities, and kill them. The Exiled have the advantage over the other Factions in that they don't need the Fragments of Sin alive to use their power. It only makes sense to kill them afterward, so their power cannot be used elsewhere.

His current target is the FoS labelled Wrath. This juggernaut is strong, so Jarik will be the one to overpower him with Jarik's own strength. Furthermore, Wrath has various Machina enhancements, making Jarik's Machina knowledge needed against him.

Beware those who stand in Jarik's way. Jarik shall remind you who the strongest race is.

Equipment: Jarik needs no equipment. Jarik will fight using Jarik's own power. Jarik's fists can break any armor. Deflect any blade. Catch any projectile. Defeat any enemy.

Abilities and Skills gained from Lancet:
- Mighty Guard - Bestows the mightiest of defenses on Jarik, granting Jarik Protect, Shell, and NulAll.

- Thrust Kick - Jarik goes spartan on the target, delivering a solid kick to their chest. Sends the target flying backwards.

- Jump - Jarik can jump. But in seriousness, Jarik can jump...then land on you and attack.

- Machina Knowledge - Jarik has used Lancet on the greatest of Al Bhed minds, granting Jarik advanced knowledge on the working of Machina and how to create them.

Other Abilities and Skills: As a member of the Exiled, Jarik has tapped into the Forbidden Lancet, allowing Jarik to use it on Aeons and gain their immense power and vast amount of abilities. Beware all summoners who cross Jarik's path.

Extra Info: Jarik cannot force himself to get angry at kids, instead ignores those too young to be fighting should he be faced against one.

NPC #2~ Fear my double post.

Name: Gewds
Age: 37
Gender: Male
Race: Hypello

Appearance: <--Shlick ze link

Personality: Gewds is a hard one to read, as are most Hypellos. His speech and behaviors are always in a cheery tone, no matter the conversation nor situation at hand. This leads to some confusing moments, as the words spoken do not always match this joyful tone. Even while speaking words of anger, sadness, confusion, fear, nervousness, or exhaustion, Gewds never shows anything but a happy face and uplifting voice.

Other than being confusing, Gewds gets along well with complete strangers, as is his job to. He does not discriminate against any customer, whether through race, age, gender, upbringing, faction or morals. Money is still money~

Bio: Gewds spent the first half of his life at the Moonflow, assisting the older Hypello in escorting travelers across it. Over time, Gewds sought to explore all of Spira, bringing supplies and aid to those exhausted by their adventures. As a traveling tradesmen, Gewds is free to go wherever he pleases. This not only increases his base customers, but allows Gewds to see first hand the effects of the Fraction wars first hand.

Who will he see next? Was that last customer a political figure? A warrior? A summoner? Maybe even The Omen? Will they try to kill Gewds? What will they buy? Or sell? Will the kidnap him? Request his assistance? What does he have that you may need? How have I resisted the urge to say a shoopuf joke so far?

Only way to know is to find him yourself.

Equipment: Gewds carries no form of self-defense. This may seem stupid in these times, but Gewds believes for every person that may try to kill him, their is a hero that will come to his rescue. In a worse case scenario where all he owns gets stolen, Gewds was smart enough to set him storages and bank accounts of his earned Gil and extra supplies. This allows him to return to business, as well as making sure he doesn't go broke from a single bad encounter.

Gewds travels around on foot, a black Chocobo with a ruby-colored beak by his side. He doesn't ride it, instead attaching the sacks of supplies he sells and trades onto the saddle. He also carries a large backpack filled with smaller goods like potions and ethers.

Abilities and Skills: Shwim at ze toop shpeedz, fashter than any ov you can.

Extra Info: Spends most of his time travelling between cities. This means he sells as he travels, so should you see him in a city, he is most likely restocking.

Is willing to make delivers. Costs extra.

Way I see it, nothing ridiculous level. Seeing as your a misc, you can be pretty powerful though if you want to keep up with the summoners. So long as you fit into the lore, that's fine by me. Wait for Ken to chime in for sure, but you can make your temp and edit if he finds it too much.

I trust ya tho ^^;;

the first part of the revamp of Greed is up... the inspiration for Greed is actually much like that of his namesake and a little similar to Seymour as well...

Nowhere in particular.

I've read over it, and while I do like it, you failed to implement how the sin took over him. The FoS were originally Summoners who became corrupted by a sin. Please fix that and come back to me. =)

3rd NPC added~

Name: Zaria Cidar
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Race: Al Bhed

Appearance: Zaria stands a slim and short 4'11 height, a result of ignoring her nutrient intake at a young age in favor of research. However, some find a certain charm in her looks, as she inherited her mother's natural beauty. She has all the basics of an Al Bhed, the mocha-tan skin, the green eyes with swirled pupils, and the blond hair that she ties up in a bun.

Her attire consists of the basic laboratory coat assigned to scientists. Zaria's is a black color, however, which is a sign of her being higher ranked than a majority of the other researchers. She leaves it unbuttoned, revealing the plain sky-blue shirt and black business skirt that goes down past her knees.

Personality: At a young age, Zaria was the type of girl to rip the hair off another child's head in order to examine. She was the one to push another kid off the top of a tree they climbed, just to discover the result of the fall on a human body. She would capture the neighbors pet, and dissect so she may see how its organs function...while it was still alive. While others would say her mind was sick and twisted, her parents believed it was the mind of a true scientist, thus they rewarded such behavior.

This behavior continues today, the main difference being she has much bigger tools to work with, and the entire Al Bhed race funding her 'research'. Every living organism she comes across is just another test subject ready to be used and tossed out the moment it fails. No matter how much blood she must spill, or lives she must ruin, she will create the ultimate weapon.

Bio: Kadrick Cidar, one of the most prominent minds of the Al Bhed in his prime. With the Factions preparing to go at each other's throats, it was this man who advanced Machina warfare to the point of striking fear across all of Spira. Kadrick started the the various programs involving Aeons, leading the group that equipped Machina implants into Ifrit, and creating artificial Aeons for battle. His greatest masterpiece, however, would be written down as his work involving the Fragment of Sin known as Wrath. Giving the beast Machina eyes and an arm, as well as helping Wrath develop his Aeon powers, Kadrick may very well be the one responsible for unleashing Wrath on Spira.

This is Zaria's father.

Varianna Cidar, the woman too cruel to live outside of the shadows. The type of research she did would cause an uproar if it got out in the open. That is why she was hidden from Spira, stationed in secret inside the depths of the Temple of Remiem. Her task was to find a way to force normal people to summon Aeons, regardless of their status with the Fayth. The goal was to gain control of a powerful, hidden Aeon that eluded their search for centuries. Varianna sought results more than anything, she was even ready to use her own child. That is, until five unwilling test subjects found their way into the Temple...

This is Zaria's mother.

Zaria Cidar, this is now her time. Following in the footsteps of her parents, she pursues a life of creating the ultimate existence. Witnessing firsthand the monster that was Wrath, she has advanced understanding of Machina, rising in the ranks as one of the Al Bhed's greatest minds. Assisting her mother in Remiem with the inhuman summoner experiments, Zaria has been willing to torture any living creature from an early age, all in the name of science.

Her curiosity of her parents test subjects grows everyday, driving Zaria to hire various mercenaries to hunt them down and bring them back. She provides Al Bhed infantry with the latest and up-to-date weaponry for battle against the other Factions.

This is Zaria's life.

Equipment: While in the lab, Zaria carries no personal equipment with her. She uses whatever tools she needs at the time and moves on. Whenever she ventures outside of the lab, however, she carries with her two gadgets to protect herself.

The first being a pistol built and designed by herself. It's your average sized pistol, the appearance resembling that of your usual Machina parts. Green, neon lines glow along one side of the pistol, red neon lights on the other, both filled with energy. The second gadget is a container of syringes, tucked away inside of her lab coat. Each syringe carries various chemicals, poisons, and concoctions Zaria likes to use on field subjects.

Abilities and Skills: Null Shot- When firing a shot using the red energy, any target hit will have their senses and abilities dulled to a great degree for an hour. Only one Null Shot can be fired from the gun, needing refuel back at a Lab.

Boost Shot- When firing a shot using the green energy, any target hit will have the physical ability boosted, the insight raised, magic power boosted, etc. Only one Boost Shot can be fired from the gun, needing refuel back at a Lab.

Basilisk Venom- She injects a potent toxin into her target, applying the poison status to the victim. The immediate part of the body that received the shot will also be paralyzed.

Lullaby Serum- She injects a liquid that spreads throughout the targets nervous system, giving their body a sense of exhaustion at first, leading to sleep for weaker opponents.

Silencer Shot- She injects a liquid with magical properties. This drains the target of their magic power, making it very difficult to cast even the most basic of spells.

Grom Reaper- She injects a toxin into the target, with the immediate effect of simulating death. They don't die, but their body turns pale, their flesh cold, and their breath unnoticeable.

Extra Info: Will go out into towns and villages to scout possible test subjects and gather information.

Due to her important position, the Al Bhed have her escorted by a powerful bodyguard.
