Final Fantasy X-3:
Peace Always Come With A Price

It fell out of sky, from nowhere. It was a light blue round object. In this world, they referred to them as spheres; Devices that held videos on them. The sphere landed with a thud then it bounced and finally rolled to a stop near the side of a building. A hand reached down to pick it up, a green hatted woman was attached to that hand.

"What could this be?" She asked.

She searched the sphere for a name or something. On the bottom it read "Show this to the world..." Quickly, the woman stuffed the sphere in her pocket and continued on her way to the inside of the stadium in Luca. Two women were waiting at the reception desk, "I want this to be shown on screens around the world as soon as possible."

The woman on the left nodded her head, "Right away Ms. Shelinda." the woman took the sphere and loaded it into a machine behind the cpunter. She then hit another button and the sphere started with a bit of static.

The static continued and the screen went on and off every other second. Finally, the screen focused in. "Is this thing on!?!" A woman with wild blonde hair and a red scarf appeared all over the world. Her clothing tattered and ripped and her face bruised and bloody. Screams could be heard in the background while flashes of red and blue were shown behind the girl.

"Rikku! Hurry up we need help!"

"I'm coming Paine, tell Tidus to hold them off!" Rikku yelled

Once again she turned back to the screen. "Spira, if you're watching this....it means that.....we couldn't stop Sin." She began to cry, "Yunie...I mean....Yuna, has.....died." Rikku then picked up the sphere and shot it into the air, and then, total silence.

Summary


Ten years ago, Yuna and her guardians journeyed Spira in search of a way to defeat the nightmare known as Sin. This would usher in an era known as "The Eternal Calm", never ending peace. Some unknown is controlling a new Sin through powers unknown. Perhaps there is another way to become the Final Aeon from the afterlife? Strange noises can be heard coming from the Chambers of the Fayth all over Spira and there is news of new Aeons coming around. It is said that one looks like a legendary guardian from the past. Yuna and her guardians were working on New Zanarkand when this happened and each of them fell to Sin. Only Lulu and Kimarhi are alive, each one of them fulfilling their duties. Our last hopes are newly trained, young summoners and guardians. Most of them provided by our three leaders, Nooj, Baralai, and Gippal. You are our last chance, stop this new Sin and bring forth the true, Eternal Calm!

Aeons​

Valefor- The demon of the sky; resides in Besaid Temple

Ifrit- The Fire aeon; resides in Kilika Temple

Ixion- The Thunder horse; located in Djose Temple

Shiva- The Ice aeon; located at Macalania Temple or what is left of Macalania

Bahamut Sin- The dragon recreated to do battle against the new Sin; located in Bevelle

Bushido- One of the new aeons. According to research done by Baralei and Nooj, the fayth is none other than Auron himself. Find him in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth and he will tell you how to defeat Sin for good.

Despair- Not much is known about this aeon. All we know is that beneath those chains and armour is a beast waiting to unleash it's fury on anyone or anything that crosses its path. It's power is said to rival that of Bahamut. Resides in Remiem Temple.

Anima- The strongest of the aeons; located in Baaj Temple

Personality:

Hikari is a guy that is always smiling and seemingly full of energy and good luck. Even though he spends most of his weekdays repairing different machina for the commoners of the Calm Lands, in return they allow him to attend their events and play their games free of charge. He is a loving and generous guy that seemingly appeals to everybody and has no enemies. He is well known throughout the calm lands as a great asset, and known by the children as the Machina Enforcer, but this hero has a secret past that the people of the calm lands have luckily never questioned.

Weapons/Armour:

Thief: A blade that was made by the Ronso. If you ask them it is the perfect imitation of of Hikari's soul. Sharp, swift, unlikely to be broken, and crude. He wears one both of his legs.

Gunner: In pic

Warrior: This blade is admiral in size yet light in weight. It was given to him by the Neo-Warrior Dressphere. It grants him a large boost in strength and a minor boost in magic.

Magic/Abilities:

Thief:

Master Thief: Allows Hikari to steal rare items and weapons.

Sticky Fingers: Garuntees a steal of an item from a foe.

First Strike: Similar to haste, but only when he is attacking.

Cure

Virtua-Gunner:

Charged Shot: An energy shot is charged to maximum capacity, held for a desired time, and fired.

Burst Shot: The shot fired is bigger than a normal shot, and does critical damage. Can be charged.

Tableturner: If a foe tries to block this shot it does more damage. Can be charged.

Scattershot: Shoots several normal shots. First level charge shoots the shots widely, second level charge shoots them forward like a shotgun.

Scatterburst: Several critical shots are fired. Charge is same as scattershot.

Target MP: Can deplete the foe's magic.

Cosmic Wave: A shot that fires in the form of a constant wave. It does minor damage upon impact, but hits multiple times when a foe is directly caught in the beam, easily making this one of his more devastating attacks. Can be charged.

Psycho-Bomb: A bomb that does damage to an enemy disregarding magic or physical nullification. Can't be charged

Express: Accuracy and Agility are increased by an average boost, and haste is placed on the person targeted.

Excellence: The target chosen is invincible for a brief moment. After the few seconds of heightened defense, necessary for the ability to completely fade, Hikari is returned to his Thief form and restricted from changing spheres for a while.

Time Trip: Time is slowed for everybody visible to Hikari, Hikari himself, and Hikari is able to stack an unsuppressed amount of techniques on top of each other. This last very briefly, then sends him back to Thief form, unable to change dresspheres for a while.

Neo-Warrior:

Sentinel: Increase defense.

Flametounge: Add fire to his attacks. This element may cause burns on his enemy, or cause the point of contact to ignite when stacked to max capacity. Max lvl 4

Thunder Blade: Add lightning to his attacks. This element may numb his enemy, or stun them on contact when stacked to max capacity. Max Lvl 4

Demi-Sword: Add gravity to his attacks. This attack pulls his enemies towards his sword, or surrounding objects as well when stacked to max capacity. Max Lvl 4

Excalibur: Add holy to his attacks. This attack may blind foes when stacked to max capacity. Max lvl 4

Release: Fires the elemental contents of his sword in a air slice.

Armor Break: Lowers opponents defense on contact.

Mental Break: Lowers opponents magical resistance on contact.

Assault: Cast Shell, Haste, and Protect on himself and his companions. Raises defense, magical resistance, and speed.

Mazer Eye: A beam is shot from his glowing eyes.

Teleportation: Hikari is teleported behind his opponent and briefly rendered unable to use any skills after the technique.

Overdrive:

Hikari raise his fist and screams, "For a land of peace and light!" He changes to his Neo-Warrior dress phere and turns the pentagon on his sword upside down. This throws his dresspheres into overdrive mode causing him to have no limit to how many techniques he can use and his buffs from the last dressphere to be kept after switching spheres. He takes a stance and applies every buff to himself in one moment, then he stacks his elemental attributes to lvl 4. He teleports behind his enemy and does a 5 hit combo, ending by sending his foe into the air. He sends off every elemental attribute on his sword one by one, starting from Gravity, lightning, fire, then holy. He shoots a Mazer beam at them and teleports behind them while the laser is striking them. Directly after the laser hits he knocks his foe towards the ground and changes into his Virtua-Gunner sphere. He cast Time-Trip before they hit the ground, activates Express, combines burst shot, Cosmic Wave, and Tableturner, and charges the shot before firing his final attack. He throws a Psycho Bomb and follows by releasing the charged shot. Hikari takes damage from his Overdrive due to the immense amount of power being used at once. This attack fries his two spheres and leaves him with only his Thief sphere.

Biography:

Hikari was born on Mt. Gagazet. His parents where Al Bhed wanderers, that where searching the lands of Spira for ancient spheres. All they cared for was power and wealth. They unreadily found themselves giving birth to a son 4 months before his due time. The Ronso had already decided that Hikari's parents were not granted passage through their village, but since the occasion was the birth of a child, the Ronso found compassion in their hearts and allowed it. Once Hikari was born, his parents left him in the Ronso village, continued to the Zanarkand ruins, and only left hima broken sphere. The Ronso had originally planned to leave the human child in the cold to die, but a Ronso villager had just given birth to a Ronso child and decided that they would raise him until his parents returned.

After a decade had passed, the Ronso had decided that it was safe to say that his parents weren't returning. They told Hikari the truth about his birth and the possible fate about his parents. Hikari didn't take a liking to this and begged the rest of the Ronso village to train him so that he could go to the ruins himself. The Ronso refused to and Hikari became an enraged adolescent burried with his obsession to fix the sphere left. The Ronso family he was staying with began to face issues with the rest of the village, due to Hikari stealing their technology and reforming it into things for him to use and bring on his upcoming journey. Though the Ronso grew tired of him, the head of the village saw something else. A lost child trying to get back to his parents without the help of those he considered to be his family. Upon noticing this, the leader urged the village to help Hikari.

By 16 Hikari was at the bottom of his class. Though the other hunters where trained a few years more than him, he lacked the natural Ronso abilities that make a Ronso a great warrior. The other aspiring warriors joked on him for making weak technology that could not even stand one blow from a Ronso, and in turn would begin to talk about his choice of weapon. "Something as small as a dagger should not be the focus of a Ronso warrior!" Is what he continuously heard. This drove him to strive harder, boosting his stamina and his intellectual and physical prowess. Eventually Hikari was rivaling the top 4 Ronso in his class. Out of respect, and the order of the Ronso Leader, the top rising Ronso at that time made Hikari a dagger to better fit him in combat against his colleagues. This was the first step towards Hikari's shift in personality.

At 18 Hikari and the top 4 Ronso where considered to all be even in prowess. Each one had their own specialty, but one had to be labeled the best. Hikari defeated all his colleagues and was presented with the opportunity to fight agains the top Ronso. Ironically this Ronso was also the Ronso that he was raised with. The Ronso was named Lokire. Lokire was furious from the pain caused by Hikari's actions. This battle lasted a day and a half, before a decision was made. The fire that burned inside of the two aspiring students could not be bested by the other, and in turn where considered equal. The machina Rebel who tore all Ronso tradition to shreds and the Golden Ronso drove mad from despair, but they were going to settle their fight.

Hikari felt he was ready to go to Zanarkand and find his parents, but Lokire would not allow him. On that same day, his parents came back. They had been lost inside the ruins defeating monster after monster, feasting off what they killed, and their only drive the whole time was getting to see the face of their son. They had lost track of time completely, and spent the last year simply crossing the terrain. They had brought back 2 spheres that resembled the same sphere they left him to fix. They where simple Warrior and Gunner spheres that needed a little tweaking, but besides that they were perfect. After receiving the spheres Hikari held a huge party for his parents. Unfortunately, they fell ill, due to the fierce climate change, days after and passed away. Hikari was sent into an emotional meltdown. He had finally fixed the sphere they left him, through looking at the new ones, and also found a sphere containing 2 sets of memory on it.

The memory had stated that by using those spheres he could make it through the ruins himself and reach what they thought was worthy enough to die for. They were some odd spheres that they feel were experimental spheres from the old thriving city Zanarkand. His parents mentioned that he would need to have the one they left him fixed, so Hikari began his journey again. Lokire thought this was another act of rage and tried to stop him. With both of them refusing to back down, Lokire decided that it was the day that they will see who is better. Lokire also revealed that he was holding back. This battle shook the mountains, but in the end the still could not settle their dispute. Hikari then ask Lokire to join him for his glorious cause. Lokire decided that would be the only way. They reached the Ruins and obtained the 2 spheres. The odd thing was that they were just covers.

Inside the Room where 4 sphere like objects. A warrior and Gunner class sphere, and 2 covers labeled Neo boost and Virtua boost. Hikari gave the two ordinary looking spheres to Lokire, while taking the film like covers and applying them to the 2 spheres his parents presented him. Amazed by the results Hikari knew that he would need to do more than stay bottled up in a Ronso village for the rest of his life. Hikari and Lokire returned to the village and Hikari decided that this would be good-by. He promised Lokire that the next time they met the duel would be settled, and Lokire agreed. Hikari was determined to change his life around, so he went to the Ronso Leader and told him about what happened. Upon finishing his story, Hikari continued to say that he was leaving, until his journey brought him back. The Leader gave Hikari his blessing, and Hikari moved to the calms lands.

Hikari has stayed in the calm lands for nearly 3 years now. Upon arrival he had no clout to sustain himself. He quickly gained an infamous status by repairing various things that the people of the calm lands had needed. They spoke as if machina was new to them, so Hikari found it to be beneficial to aid them. Hikari did his duty free of charge, only asking that those who needed his help supported him in his endeavors and allowed him to be amongst them in peace. The habitants of the calm Lands found this quite noble of him and have allowed him to use their games in order to better his skills with the spheres he was given. Naturally he seemed to just fit in. As one of the few Al Bhed in the area, he was put in a class of few. A class of social acceptance that not many had in the calm lands, but none the less he has been able to sustain a living there for coming up to 3 years.

Name: Renn Gurski

Age: 19

Appearance: Alchemist: Mostly comprised of black and reds with a few touches of silver here and there the dark spots on the pauldrons are black surrounded by Red and the straps to the pads and around his arms are silver over a black bodysuit and the pads themseldes are riveted with black and the inner parts silver and the edges red. The boots are black leading into a silver toe and red heels. The gloves are Black and the bracers around his wrists are centrally red and edged in silver with the bracers for the boots are oppositely schemed to them. His hair is short and brown wearing black welding goggles over his blue eyes.

The gun is mostly black with edges and rings of Red and a painted silver chain originates from the line where the barrel doesn't loop to the three rings of red near the trigger.

Dark Knight

Gunner(Default): Renn's perferred outfit, his brown hair accentuated by a Red T-shirt and blue jeans with two pockets on each leg, one at each side, and one on each butt cheek. he has his holsters belted above his side pockets and has a silver ring on his right index finger. He still wears the welding goggles on his forehead and wears black socks and simple black sneakers.

Gender: Male

Birthplace: Born in Djose, raised in Bikanel, lived in Luca afterward.

Alignment: Good

Personality: He's not really upbeat but has a strong sense of passion and duty. He can hardly ignore those in trouble, but he knows when to fight with swords or with words instead. Also witholding a highly logical point of view and a large base of knowledge to back it up, so he's a great guy to look to for advice or when to deliberate what to do next. His calm demeanor in battle also helps in deductively decimating all kinds of opponents.

Alchemist:

Mix- Combining two items to make a more effective item or in some cases infusing two items into the bullets of his Gun, He can create a multitude of uses with the items in his inventory although it takes some time to do it. Later on he can combine three items for better uses and effectiveness. He's experimented with some restorative items already to come up with these results. Although he cannot use his secret stash to provide ingredients.

2 potions = Hi-potion( Recovers a significant amount of HP to one target unless KOed)
2 Hi-potions= X-potion (Restores all HP to one Target unless KOed)
2 Mega-potions= Ultra-potion (Restores HP to all Targets to full unless KOed)
1 Lunar curtain+ 1 Sun Curtain= Wall "Time to go on the defensive." ( Casts Protect and Shell on all allies)
2 Phoenix down=Phoenix pinion "I can't believe I have to do this." (Recovers one ally from KO with full health)
1 Hi-potion+ 1Ether= Elixer "Looks like you need this" (Restores all HP and MP to one target)
Secret stash "Good thing I saved this!": Renn has a secret stash of items that will grow larger the stronger his Alchemist capabilities get. but sadly he cannot use the stash for mixing.

Dark knight- Specializing in debilitation and devastating attacks, Renn goes into a state where he can
fight with lightning fast instincts.

Drain "Your life force is now mine!"- Draws a certain amount of HP from an opponent to himself
Berserk " Let rage overtake you!" - Drives one target into a rage that increases physical attack damage but they have no choice but to attack.

Gunner- great from a distance, Renn can exploit weaknesses using specialized ammo
Enchanted ammo- using magical based shots, Deals magical damage instead of physical damage

Trigger happy- busting out both pistols, Renn lets loose an entire magazine from each gun unloading massive physical damage on one foe, although it takes sometime to reload both guns later on.

On the level- Meant for experienced gunners, it deals damage equal to Renn's skill level

Overdrive: Depending on the dressphere used , Renn has a different overdrive for each of them but they grow as one technique all of them growing stronger everytime one variation is used. LV determines use level

Alchemist- Lock and Load, works similar to Irvine's Limit break when he uses AP ammo, shooting off a beam of light dealing 3x damage but the Recoil is so great that it takes alot to fire off the next round. But with each level Renn's tolerance for the recoil grows allowing him to shoot more before he runs out of adrenaline to use it.
LV1- 2 to 3 shots
LV2- 3 to 4 shots
LV3- 5 to 7 shots
LV4- 8 to 10 shots
Dark knight- Shadow ravage, a black aura covers Renn's hand and turns it into a claw and covers his sword. Increasing his damage and depending on what he uses his claw and sword can inflict status ailements. The level determines the damage and the status ailements. Only lasts about a minute
LV1:2x Claw: Darkness, Sword: Poison
LV2:2.5x Claw: Stun, Sword: Berserk
LV3: 3.75x Claw: Stop, Sword: Defense break (+ 1 spellspringed Black sky)
LV4: 5x Claw: Drain, Sword: Dispel (+2 spellspringed Black sky attacks)

Gunner: Full-Auto Roulette - This Overdrive, pools all the abilities Renn knows from the gunner sphere(except Trigger happy until LV3) into a randomized magazine that doesn't drain his MP and allows for a quick reload. The LV determines how many shots go in the magazine as well as the damage ratio increase. Upon LV's 3 and 4, One bullet can count for one full gauge of trigger happy if it's in the magazine. ( fun fact: if you send Renn in LV4 overdrive with cat nip, low health, and he has a full magazine of trigger happy, the multipliers allow breaking the damage limit of 9999, he'll kill penance in 3 of his turns. But for the sake of the RP this will NEVER happen. )
LV1: 1.5x, 6 shots
LV2: 2x, 7 shots
LV3: 2.5x, 9 shots + 1 extra trigger happy
LV4: 3x, 11 shots +1 extra trigger happy
Biography: Renn, is one who studies the art of battle often. He has high hopes for his abilities since he has a knowledge base that rivals that of Shinra's. He was around 16 when Yuna supposedly defeated Sin for good. He was even present on the airship that left Bikanel island when Home was destroyed.

Before that however, he was an orphan, forced to fend for himself from age 8, His parents had given birth to him before they returned to Home from Djose because they were studying the mechanical nature of the temple itself. But then they decided to return to Bikanel to support their brethren in excavating the desert sands. But when they were while Renn was being taken care of, they were killed by a rouge machina that awoke and it's judgement sensors were down and killed everything it saw.

After Yuna beat sin for good supposedly, Renn moved to Luca because the lighter atmosphere, he assumed would help him get over his parents death. He worked by maintaining the hovers that ferryed people up and down the highroad, And in his line of work he would see people being preyed upon by fiends and it reminded him of how he lost his parents... That's when he became fascinated by the science of battle. He soon became the unorthodox 'guardian of the highroad' protecting people who couldn't afford a hover ride down the highroad. He was also a member of the team of Al Bhed who dismantled the machina who went berserk on the highroad two years later.

He had taken the time to analyze alot of fiends and how to defeat them effectively using his own style. He liked being a mixed attacker with the use of the spheres in his possesion, Gunner, Alchemist, and Dark Knight.

Age: 23

Appearance: Daniel is a slender and very athletic young man. He stands at exactly 6 feet tall. He is of African-American descent and is slightly brown. Daniel usually has his facial hair cut, but lately he lets his goatee and mustache grow, only trimming it when necessary. The black hair that sits upon his head is always cut, but not enough to make you think he was bald.

As for clothes, he wears a long sleeve black shirt with the sleeves covering half his hand. Also, He wears blue jeans and black running shoes instead of slacks and dress shoes. The only bit of jewelry he wears in a locket that has been passed down to him from generation to generation and silver dog tags around his neck.

Birthplace: Bikanel Desert

Alignment: Good

Personality: Daniel has that “I Don’t Give a Damn” attitude towards pretty much everything. The only thing he cares about at all are the other guardians and the safety of the summoner. It's funny because he swears that he hates just about everyone as well. According to him, ‘People are stupid and will eventually turn their back on you. What the point in getting to know them?” But on the inside, somewhere down deep in the pit of his soul he actually cares.

When he was 12, during Yuna's pilgrimage when she was kidnapped and brought to Bikanel, he met Rikku and she gave him hope that one day Sin would be gone and the calm would come again thanks to Yuna. Daniel was right to believe her because Sin was beaten for what he thought to be for good, even after his parents died when the fiends attacked Bikanel, he remained happy.

Years later, Yuna has died fighting the new Sin and now he wants to follow in the footsteps of guardians past and help protect the summoner and bring forth the true eternal calm or die trying.

Appearance: Kurai has dark brown hair that is long and messy. His skin is a pale white and he has piercing blue eyes. He is pretty slim and doesn't have a massive amount of muscle.
Kurai wears a white shirt under a black trench coat that is unbuttoned and comes down to his knees, as well as a hood and high collar. Over his white shirt are two belts that hold a throwing knife each and have another strap for an Elixir or Health Potion. He wears black pants with a belt around them that has a sheath for his sword. He also has plain black shoes and gloves that go over his hands and lower arm.

Gender: Male

Birthplace: Calm Lands

Alignment: Good

Personality: Kurai would love to call himself a heroic guy of unchallenged bravery, but that could kind of be considered as lying. He’s a guy who has a decent amount of bravery and would love to die alongside other Guardians if the option of victory or a safe exit wasn't available. He’s a strategist that would like to remain uninjured for as long as possible, or at least kill whatever attacks him before it hurts too badly. He does have a kind heart and good sense of humour and would gladly save a friend if he wouldn't be killed. Kurai tends to zone out when he isn't doing anything in particular to get a better hold of his magic.

Weapons/Armour:

Magic:
Invisible/Vanish- Makes Kurai seem like a blur, making it harder to hit him. If Kurai stays still he will be completely invisible. Lasts for thirty seconds.
Sheep Song- Inflicts Sleep on all living things in range other than Kurai. Can be ignored if you block your ears. Sleep lasts for 60 seconds, can be stopped if Kurai is injured while orchestrating it.
Zephyr Mantle- Creates two shadow clones of Kurai that can take a hit directed at Kurai each.
Fira- A moderately powerful fire-based spell.
Darkga- A high-powered Darkness-based spell.
Dragon Force- Increases the targets Attack and Magic Attack.

Overdrive:
Banishing Bombardment- Kurai puts his index fingers in his temples and closes his eyes, causing him to vanish and cast Zephyr Mantle, making his clones orchestrate Sheep Song as he bombards his enemies with Fira and Darkga as he stacks Dragon Force up to five times to make him more powerful. Finally Kurai casts Stop on all enemies before the clones disappear and everyone wakes up from Sheep Song, removing status effects from the party other than a K.O, paralysis and blindness.

Biography: Growing up in the Calm Lands Kurai had never done anything really exciting more than twice. He had grown up with his father in a small house, where his father made weapons and sold them to travellers that happened to pass by. While his father made weapons Kurai adventured in a nearby forest that would not usually have many monsters and read a book of spells that he had been given by a traveller one day.

At the age of thirteen while Kurai was navigating the forest he was attacked by some bizarre creature that could be described as a Pigman. It came at him with an axe and Kurai quickly dodged it and vanished, sneaked up behind it and stabbed it through its back and out of its chest with the sword his father had given him (not the one linked btw). Afterwards Kurai quickly left the forest and went home, telling his father about what had attacked him.

The following night more Pigmen came from the forest and ransacked the small village Kurai and his father lived in, slaughtering many until they were satisfied, which included Kurai's father. Kurai was with his father when he died, fortunate enough to be told that in the chest in the cellar was Kurai's birthday present. Kurai stayed with his father until the man died and then went into the cellar, found the chest and opened it. Inside was a sword inside a sheath and two light-weighted knives.

The following day an adventurer passed the ruined village and found Kurai sleeping in the branches of a tree. The man asked what happened and Kurai told him of the Pigmen that had invaded and destroyed everything. The man had pity for Kurai, and seeing that the boy had a sword in his belt and a book of spells with him the adventurer took Kurai with him, explaining that Guardians were required to protect new Summoners after Sin had not been defeated and that Kurai had the potential to help.

Yosh! Acceptance! I can't believe that i missed that... I think that I always skip the last part of the rules when i read them. Usually i notice those little requirements, but as of late i have been completely missing them

Awesome! Can't wait! I loved final fantasty X so i see this being alot of fun ^_^ Can I make one of the summoners that will be trying to take out sin or are they NPC's?
