The room was big and fancy, as expected given the rest of the building. Plush red carpets, brown walls lined with books, odd trinkets and statues, and a circular chandelier, the size of the ceiling itself. The back wall of Apu's room, which the dealer's desk sat directly in front of, was made entirely of glass, giving a glorious view of the Bevelle skyline. If one paid enough attention the the outer view, they would notice how perfectly one building outside's ceiling lined up with Apu's window.

Arcade and his men were inside, with the Boss himself sitting in a large leather chair directly across Apu's seat at the desk. Both of his goons were stationed at the door, blocked by three of Apu's own suits. Mr. Gambit was surrounded by burly men, all armed to the teeth with state of the art Machina. The Hypello had to have at least ten men in his room, all with their fingers on the trigger--iron sights on the Ol' Cat.

"Mistah Arcadeh Gambht. I hear some interesting thinghs abouth yooh," The tiny blue man began, leaning over the large wooden desk, he waved his long hand at one of the suits, prompting them to exit the room.

"Oh really now?" Arcade said with genuine curiosity, "I'm just a business man. What could possibly be said about me?" He folded his left leg over his right and stroked the side of his beard. "You know, except the usual, aha." The Hypello blinked both of his bug eyes before he replied.

"Hm, Mistah Arcadeh Gambht, we both knowh youh are noh ordinaryh bushinessh maneh."

The door opened up again, the suit now holding a bottle of white wine. The man gingerly walked towards the seated Head Honchos, reaching for two glasses on one of the wall shelves. "Sir," He mumbled once he reached the desk.

"Thank yooh Pablo. Mistah Arcadeh Gambht, a drink?" Apu motioned towards the bottle that Pablo poured; the finest brand Spira had to offer, brewed deep inside the Calm Lands. Arcade frowned though, noticing that the Hypello drank none of his own glass.

"Why not? I prefer red wine normally though," He joked, pressing the elongated glass to his lips, "Mr. Apu. I did come here on business today, I'd like to get that out the way--you understand?" The fedora clad man took a small, careful sip of the drink in his hands. If he did drug it, he'll be in for a surprise.

"Yesh, yesh indeed. Pleash go onh." Apu was throughly examining Arcade's movements.

"Thank you," He smiled and set his drink back on his end of the desk, "I'll keep this short and sweet Mr. Apu. With the return of Sin, and the death of High Summoner Yuna, people are going to want protection--which your establishment can provide Your profits are going to spike...and I want in on that profit. Say, fifty percent?" Apu and his men exchanged glances, causing the suits to step a bit closer towards the desk.

"Ohh, that's a nooh can dooh Mistah Arcadeh Gambht. Yooh seeh, I needh myh moneysh," The blue Hypello paused, "Allh ofh iht." Quickly, the creature dug into his breast pocket. "Yooh seeh, I haveh my menh workingh on somethingh largeh." Out came a brilliant looking cerulean sphere, glowing with some level of ferocity. "Have yooh heardeh the legendsh? Mistah Arcadeh Gambht, these spheresh, onceh all sevenh are gatheredh, somethingh 'specialeh' happensh." Arcade's grey eyes widened.

"That's some legend....made any progress?" This trip to Bevelle might prove much more prosperous than he had thought.

"Thish is allsh we haveh for nowh, but my menh haveh alreadyh detectedeh the signaturesh of onesh in Besaideh and Lucah, and--"

At that moment, Porn-Stache began to twitch morn than usual. A bright blue light emitted from his back pocket--an orb shaped light.

"Mr. Apu!" One of the suits hollered, causing the tiny blue man to leap up.

"B-B-Boss!" P. Stache hollered, his hands gripping his guns. "Auuuuaaaaah!" He unsheathed his guns, inching back towards the door.

"It looksh likeh we just foundh our secondh sshphere..." Apu crossed his arms, a wide smirk crossing his stretched face.

Arcade sighed deeply, "Nothing ever goes smoothly these days," He tilted his head just a bit, trying to see past the Hypello and outside the window. With his left hand he gave a tiny wave.

"Thanks for the drink by the way. Wasn't bad."

At that moment, a lone bullet ripped through the glass behind Apu. It came so suddenly and swift the poor blue man didn't stand a chance. It tore through his skull and stopped it's joyride only when met with the thick wood of the desk. Eyes wide and lifeless, the Hypello dropped back into his chair, tiny body limp.

“That is what they are sending to attack the Sin? Mwahhahahah” Felden laughed from his vantage point. “I pity them. What little hope they have will be crushed easily” Felden chuckled. As he was about to attack a blinding flash of light struck the crowd. “There are other followers of Sin? Excellent” spoke Felden.
Felden then thought to find the culprit. As he looked he saw a shadows seeping away.” Another user of darkness? This just gets better and better doesn’t it? Together I and that user will bring the rise of Ultimate Power to the Sin.” With that Felden rushed into the darkness.

Cael looked at the screen, seeing Gippal's face and hearing his announcement. He looked at Lucille. He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his thighs and his hand covering his mouth as he chuckled at the immediate appearance of a summoner. This was a quick response to High Summoner Yuna's death. Although he wasn't going to doubt Lucille's capabilities as a summoner, how sure were they that Lucille was able to fulfill her duties?

But there was no use doubting. "Is there anyone willing to become her guardian?"

There were murmurs in the crowd. He looked around. There was no one here who looked determined enough to make a decision. Not that they were to blame; this is Sin we're talking about. Sin, who came back when we thought he wouldn't ever again. Cael felt a chill run up his spine, a sign which he knew he could not dismiss. "Alrighty." He said to himself, standing up. This time, there was no reason to sit down again.

He ran to one person he knew who could help him. Seeing him at the counter of the blitz ball stadium, Cael called out to him. "Enyat!" The man turned to face him. Cael grinned. "Fly me to Bevelle." Enyat looked at him with suspicion. "You..."

Cael cut him off. "You heard Gippal." He said. Enyat sighed but gave a small grin. Cael returned the grin with his own. "Dryhg oui." Cael said.

Enyat walked off towards his airship, Cael following. "We'll get there in no time with my airship." He said. Cael nodded. They got on board and without anymore time being wasted, they rode off to Bevelle.

Nearing Bevelle, Cael was getting ready when Enyat spoke. "Are you sure?" He asked. "There's no joke on being a guardian. The burden the summoner holds is great and shared among her guardians as well. It's not your usual challenge, Cael."

"An effort to make a change is better than waiting for the change. I won't regret it. Mother thought the same, when she went for Mi'ihen." He said. There was a moment of silence, when Enyat was confirmed that Cael did not treat this simply as a fun challenge. There was determination and revenge in his voice. "Dyga lyna."

"I should be saying that to you. Good luck." Enyat said as Cael flashed him a grin.

On reaching Bevelle, Cael was getting off the ship while saying, "Look forward to the Eternal Calm!" He heard Enyat laughing as he stepped onto Bevelle. He looked around and walked towards where the summoner was. Once there, he spotted what remained of the lightning that was struck earlier. "What happened here?" He mumbled to himself.

He saw the summoner and three men who seemed to be her guardians, who looked like they were about to leave. Walking up to them with slight haste, he knelt down in front of them. "Guardian, at your service. My name's Cael. I hope there's no problem with me joining." He flashed a friendly smile.

The sea breeze ran playful fingers through her hair, which streamed behind her in waves that churned in time with the rushing ocean either side of her. She was standing on the ferry’s bow on its headlong rush from Luca to Bevelle as it carved through the turquoise waters with trail of white. Salt that came in sprays glistening in the sun remained suspended in front of her; it seemed to defy the pull of the howling winds. She drew a deep breath and closed her eyes, held it for a moment, then exhaled. The ocean had been her respite for the past decade, ever since Sin’s disappearance. It pained her to think Spira was once again returning to a time where it held nothing but danger.

“Did you hear?” A rough voice from behind broke her reverie. She turned around, hair flying in her face; he was no older than thirty from the looks of it and also not addressing her. Probably a blitz player, she thought, noting his sinewy physique. It was difficult to deny he was good looking. “They say they’re going to use this ship to bring the new Lady Summoner to Besaid. This very ship.

“No,” his presumed teammate answered. “And what would be the point of it anyway? To do another pilgrimage? No. The way I see it, we have only one choice: hide and hope Sin don’t find us. We’re sending summoners on a one-way road to the Farplane; they ain’t gonna defeat Sin. Nobody has, nobody will.”

“Silence your tongue,” the man ordered. “Do not curse our only hope with your blasphemy.”

“Don’t mean it ain’t true.”

“Don’t mean we have to quit trying.”

Eve turned and walked to the ship’s interior. The despair had penetrated all corners of the globe, that much was evident. How a motley crew of overzealous teenagers could hope to change it, she did not know. What she did know was that the most damaging part of Sin’s reappearance was not the decimation of cities and homes it left in its wake, but the destruction of the psyches of an entire people.

When the ship docked in Bevelle she remained onboard watching the people walk off, the spring in their step lost to a universal slouch. Their troubles were only the beginning. Without warning, a rapid fire of pods, shining and black in their exterior, landed in the crowd, explosions of pyreflies from where people had been crushed. Eve’s eyes widened. Sinspawn! She had only seen them once before in her childhood, but she would forever remember their Hell-sent forms.

Not on my turf, she thought. “Keep out of my home!” she roared as she lunged into a tuck dive off the ship, drawing her pistols in midair while rolling. She landed on her heels, left leg stretched forward, and unleashed bullet fury on one pod before curling into another roll to dodge an oncoming Sinspawn. She pushed off the ground on completing the roll, gaining altitude over the pod to her front, and rained shots from above it; the creature quivered before erupting into pyreflies, innumerable and without direction.

Gravity ended her jump on the monster’s sibling. She launched backward with a kick, spine arched in a perfect backflip, and pulled triggers in alternation until, like the one before, her target decomposed to pyreflies. She landed on both feet, knees bent, hunched forward and panting. Unstoppable. Mouth hung agape as she realized that in place of the two Sinspawn she vanquished were a dozen more.

"Nice to meet the both of you." Daniel said to the fellow guardians, "Please excuse my bluntness but, don't get in the way. You're still children, this is not a game. Your lives will be changes by the events about to unfold on this journey." He did not wait for a response from either of them but instead directed his attention in the direction of the summoner.

"I guess we should be heading for the docks?" He asked in case she wanted to stay a bit longer.

As he turned around, there was a new person there, kneeling before him and the other guardians. "Guardian, at your service. My name's Cael. I hope there's no problem with me joining." He flashed a friendly smile.

Daniel bowed back out of respect. "I suppose there will be no harm done in adding another to the party." Daniel said, "These kids here could use another to watch out for them." He then smiled back at Cael, this was a rare sight for the young man, he only smiled when he knew there was someone he could like. I guess this new guardian was one of the few lucky ones.

There was a sudden scream coming in the direction of the docks. Daniel looked into the air. It was raining, but this was no ordinary rain. Huge pods were falling from the sky and then he knew....Sinspawn. This usually meant that Sin was also nearby. Daniel looked at his new companions, "We're leaving....now," He said in his calmest voice, "But we're going to have to fight to the boat, protect the summoner with your life. I'll lead." Quickly, Daniel unsheathed his gunblade and held it in his right hand, with the free hand he beckoned for Lucille to follow closely.

Dozens of pods opened up to reveal bug looking creatures, each of them hissing at the people in Bevelle. Daniel shrugged and stabbed the sinspawn in the belly then kicked it off of his blade. One lunged at him from behind but Daniel jerked around and sliced it in half and its hissing went away. Daniel then cast a flare spell on the three that were beginning to surround him.

"Alright you two, prove yourselves worthy!"

Miah stood idle in the midst of all that was going on. Taking a side trip really did not need these many distractions. First a sudden bolt of lightning and then a sudden outburst of sinspawn. Clearly there was something wrong with this picture because a look of annoyance crossed his face once again. But instead of acting on his initial intuition to stay and chat, he needed to get out of there fast. He could still make it to Zanarkand in time to proceed with his plan. The current attractions wouldn't allow such a easy depart.

Several sinspawn gathered around Miah itching to commense a group attack. Each step they took, The more irritated Miah grew because he knew just about anyone with a weapon could take down these monsters. He suddenly raised a hand in the air and gathered a fist of electric impulses. The creation of the attack itself seemed to drain the light from the sun as the surrondings went dark. "TA DAA! A fist of electrifying scrumdiliuptiousness from yours truely!" Miah proceeded to strike the ground with such force that bolts of lightning lined a good 20 meter radius and completely contorted the ground below them into a vortex-type shape dismantleing all the creatures around him.

Rising from his position Miah took a breath and looked around placing both hands on his hips as if he was satisfied with his work. "Not half bad doncha think?" Out of the corner of his eye, Miah spotted a group of fighters who seemed to be protecting a young girl around his age. They didn't seem like your typical fighters either. Putting two and two together, he didn't want to believe what
he was seeing. Already another group of summoner and guardians? To be honest he, if anyone, expected such a quick gatherig if a posse. Especially at a funeral.

"Worst funeral ever," Miah's figure gradually disappeared as he called on the wind to carry him away, all the while keeping his eyes on this so-called 'summoner'.

Inferno laughed at his opponents and said "these guys are weak where's the leader Sinspawn?" said Inferno slasahing Sinspawn in half with his blade. After he cleared about 5 of them he left for the docks leaving the other two behind and when he got there he heard "Massive Sinpawn run for your lives!!!" but he laughed and said " I can take him alone with my techniques i know already". When the fight started Inferno used a skill he called "Taunt" which does provoke and threaten at the same time making the Sinspawn at halt then he used Firaga on it and that left it with a burning part on it but it also burned a ship " I hope that is not our ship" he said in regret.

Sin had answered his call. The spawn was crashing around all around him. Felden smiled maliciously and casually looked to his left. There was the party, which was to eliminate Sin. “If they think to make it to the other side, then they are going to be sorry.” Felden whispered. He wandered off through the crowd and found his way to a barge that looked like it was the Summoner’s trip.
With all of the chaos happening about he slipped in and waited under the deck.
“Consider them already dead” Felden chuckled. “Those meddlesome fools will regret getting in the way of Sin”

As Fletcher was using the darkness to escape from the guardian that shot fire at him he suddenly stopped.

"Sinspawn? I thought the plan was that master would attack once the summoner and it's guardians were on the ship." Fletcher looked around and saw the guardians with the summoner making their way onto the ship while fighting the Sinspawn. So Fletcher just used darkness to get on the ship. He looked around the ship while the guardians were still fighting the Sinspawn. When he looked under the deck someone was there as well. He obviously wasn't on the summoners side if he was just under the deck.

"Hey you're obviously not one of them so I'm guessing you're like me. Anyway I have a plan. Come with me." Fletcher grabbed Felden by the arm and turned Fleden into a shadow like Fletcher.

"Follow me." Fletcher led Felden to a shady part of the boat so it would be impossible to know they were on the boat. Now they just had to play the waiting game.

Renn took out his other blade and combined to form the dual spear mode of his blades. "You got it." Renn said with a smirk. He charged forward into the fray. "Lucille! C'mon! We have to get you to Besaid!" Renn said as he wedged his spear into a nearby Sinspawn. He split the blade again and swiped at the Sinspawn with the free blade then using leverage with his feet, he pulled the other blade free. He landed on his feet and said: "We have to get to my hometown of Luca, Lady Lucille!" Renn soon rushed forward. "C'mon!"

Crystella stood on the edge of the Farplane, chills ran up her spine from the ice barricading the Farplane entrance. Yells and pounding could be heard from the other side.

"Damn mongrels, I can't hear myself think'

She stood at the edge, waiting.

"Deysu...please...come to me."

Her hands gripped the stone wall as she closed her eyes in concentration, vividly imagining the face of the man she loved, the man she lost. She opened her eyes to see...nothing.

"Dammit!" She yelled.

She turned angrily to the entrance walking in a fast stride, as she prepared to dissolve the ice barrier, when suddenly, the whooshing of pyreflies mending together. she stopped, feeling a desperate grin spread across her face as she turned around, it was her parents.

Her grin faded for a moment, but she was happy to see them. She slowly approached the blankly staring, floating phantoms that are her parents.

"I guess...Deysu is an unsent." she stated dully, staring at her feet, slowly nudging closer.

"They held the funeral today, the only tragedy is that they left out the people who really matter. "

"Paine...and her, they weren't heroes, not like you guys, they were damn sphere hunters!"

She looked them in the eyes, they continued to stare blankly into space. She stared back to the floor, her eyes started to tear up.

"I, I really miss you guys...I'ts...so difficult-" She fell to the floor in tears, her sobs echoed against the stone and ice, finally fading in the Farplanes vast distance.

With a clashing thud, a burly man finally crashed through Crystella's ice barrier. hundreds of disgruntled Spira citizens could be seen behind the broken barrier. He heaved and gasped for air as Crystella quickly rose to her feet.

"Who in the hell do you think you are? We ALL want to see Lady Yuna, you can't hog these honorable heroes for yourself!" The man yelled between heavy breaths.

Crystella's fist clenched.

"Honorable?" She snarled through her teeth.

She held out her right arm towards the man, opening her hand as the mans muscular arm enveloped in ice. The crowd gasped as the man screamed in pain. Crystella quickly leaped forward, unsheathing her dagger and striking and frozen arm, shattering into thousands of pieces. The man screamed like a little girl in shock, as the crowds behind began to panic and retreat.

She grabbed the man by his hair and snarled in his ear.

"Be happy it was a limb and not your life." Before throwing him outside of the Guadosalam entrance.

She held her hand at the entrance as ice slowly mended together over the entrance.

"You see? All those people? They aren't here to see you, they only want to see that stupid whore! They cannot comprehend true greatness." She spoke to the phantoms.

"But it doesn't matter...soon enough, they'll all rest in the Farplane, sooner than they think." She smiled at the thought, then frowned.

"If only I knew what to do..."

pyreflies danced around her, swimming in all directions in the air, Crystella quickly turned to see the apparitions of her parents had vanished.

A pyrefly danced around her head as she stared curiously, she tried to reach out to it but it quickly swam around and entered her head.

Flashes of images flashed through her mind.

Water
Ruins
Rusted Chains
Five Statues

She opened her eyes, the Farplane had grown silent and a Pyrefly wasn't to be seen.

She smiled softly.

"Baaj Temple." She whispered.

With a snap of her finger, the ice barrier dissolved instantly as she slowly strode out of the Farplane.

Far in the distance, a figure in the Farplane let out a devious grin, before bursting into Pyreflies.

"I suppose there will be no harm done in adding another to the party. These kids here could use another to watch out for them."

Cael returned Daniel's smile with a laugh. "Alright! I'm liking this group already." He said, when he heard a scream. Seeing the sudden invasion of Sinspawns, his eyes narrowed. "Sin wastes no time, does it?" He mumbled to himself. Giving Daniel a thumbs up as a confirmation to his instructions, he held his blade Ashura, in one hand as he ran while still keeping himself close to Lucille. Though he introduced himself, he did not know any of their names. But that would have to come later.

Cael cast Flare to the Sinspawns in front of him, burning them down. As he slashed each Sinspawn in his way, he spotted one lunging towards Lucille. He ran in front of her and raised his blade, the Sinspawn's claws meeting Ashura. "Close one," He mumbled to Lucille quickly before bringing down his sword on the fiend.

These fiends were pests. "Tch," He sounded before casting Blind on a few around. They moved about recklessly, missing him when they attacked. He chuckled, easily bringing them down. "There's no end to them. If Sin was just a little lenient on us..." He joked, casting Flare to surrounding fiends again.

"What a beautiful day” Words drifted out of a teenage girl’s mouth. Her tone so refreshing, and up in happiness as the sight she sees. The sun shining with blue richness and white, fluffy clouds. The sun up and high, shining down on the small Island of Kilika. Waves pushing up against the docks as the wind drifts the water in a continuous, and harmless motion. People in Kilika were the friendliest that can be; their pride for the Kilika Beasts is without a doubt why they keep such hope and for one day, an Eternal Calm to arrive.

“So, this is where I was born.” Flora said looking from a distance as she arrives on a boat to Kilika. Her father, even though adopted, told her of the place she Is really from, and that one day she should go check it out. With her travels, Flora made the time to venture to her birthplace, and really get to her roots. She was just a baby when she was last here. The sounds of wooshing water was heard as the boat that Flora was on neared the docks. Just a good ten feet away, Flora stood at the front of the boat. Flora’s body posture was definitely filled with awe and refreshment. Her left leg was on the bow of the boat, with her left arm resting confidently on it, and her right arm was upward with her right hand slightly over her eyes looking over Kilika.

“Wowza, that’s some plac---” Flora said stopping her words as she saw the Island was being attacked by numerous of fiends, “well that’s just dandy.” Flora said with a hint of disappointment.

Stepping back a few feet, and back into the safety of the boat, Flora took a running start, and by gaining four feet of air, provided that her running start gave her a good amount of velocity, she did a double front flip. In the first flip, Flora took out her twin daggers, which had a blue hilt, and red blade. Hearing the screams of fright, Flora used that a signal of where exactly the fiends were attacking.

“Joutuu” With a single word, Flora’s speed increased at least twice as much prior to this moment. With that single word, Flora was able to gain better ground, and get over to help the damsel in distress. To gain an advantage upon attacking time, Flora Jumped on top of one of the houses, and caught her ground as he placed both of her feet and hands in a crawling position. With this action, her eyes saw that there were at least five wolf-like fiends, and three flying eyeballs. Gripping her daggers tightly, Flora spat out one more word, “Ryoku” This time, her strength increased, and how she’ll be able to get these fiends to go bye-bye, and not dare to bother the folks of Kilika anymore.

“Hey uglies,” Flora shouted as she stood firm and strait on top of the building she just scaled quickly. It didn’t take long for the wolf-like fiends to notice her, and as the mindless morons they were, two of them came at Flora from the right , two from the left, and one came at her through the middle. From this, Flora simply smiled. She dashed to the left. With speed and strength on her side, Flora delivered a monstrous upward kick to the first wolf fiend’s face, launching it upward, and she delivered a strait right punch to the one behind it, which sent it flying downward, crashing with a large thud.

“Not done yet,” Flora said as she soon followed up with the momentum. Using the wolf sent upward as a stepping stool of sorts, Flora jumped off that(which sent that wolf down as well), Flora placed both of her daggers in front her, delivering a devastating double stab the fiend that came from the center. Blood oozed out of the fiend’s body as it crashed on the ground, bleeding to its death.“ three down, two to go.” Flora said acknowledging that three of these beasts were more or less knocked out. As the other two glared at Flora with the bystanders just watching Flora’s excellent skill in battle. It was in that same instant, that the wolves came at her with claws first. Flora simply had enough of this prolonged fight.

“Ice Fragment Crescent” As Flora spoke those words, her hands started to gather a light-blue source of magic. Soon the magic energy was gathered, and only little specs of icy-blue light was seen in both hands. By jumping into the air, Flora tossed the specs of light into the air, and by doing a sphere-shot formation with her body, she launched all of those specs of light-blue magic with her bare foot. Upon launching, each spec of energy materialized into ice shards shaped like crescents. They flew so fast that, in a total of three seconds, the two wolves were frozen solid in mid-air, and in the next second, they dropped to the ground shattering into multiple pieces.

Flora wasn’t done there. The flying eyeballs were her next target, but she didn’t want to waste her magic on them. So instead, Flora drew out a few Shirakun, and threw them so accurately, and efficiently, that not only did they kill the eyeballs, but they also blew their eye out completely. And it was with that, that Flora saved her ‘home’ from the fiends.

There wasn’t even a whisper from the civilians. Flora looked a bit nervous about whether or not these people would say thank you or not. It wasn’t until one little boy that graced Flora with those words. “thank you miss! You saved my mommy and daddy.” the innocence of the little kid’s voice was enough to bring a heart-felt smile to Flora. And it was with that, gave birth to joyful cheering, and thankful yelling.

Landing from a backflip as she tore through her twenty-seventh Sinspawn, she heard an explosion coming from behind and saw, out the corner of her eyes, tongues of fire leaping from the hull. The ship was destroyed—either by a psychopath who only wanted to exacerbate matters or a fool who had no clue what the hell kind of magic he or she was using; she hoped it was the former. She was wrong. In the distance stood the problem. Black-red bracer running his arm, scarf choking neck, even his robe seemed to have given up, torn and scratched in more places than she could count in the heat of battle. Child.

“I hope that is not our ship!” she heard him say. Idiot, that ship was for the summoner. She glared at him, pulled up her right hand and shot the Sinspawn beside her in the soft flesh between tentacles, the rush of a myriad pyreflies across her face in its wake, not once relenting her stare. Twenty-eight, she counted as she made her way over to the boy. He brought more danger in that one attack than the Sinspawn and needed to be eliminated.

Twenty-nine. Thirty. She fired twice at the mindless, shelled creatures on either side of her on her unerring path to the teenager. A sudden burst of energy to her right drew her attention; a blond man had cast a Flare spell, vanquishing the fiends surrounding him with deft swiftness. To his left stood a woman dressed in earthen chestnut and olive, her hair red, flowing like her skirt—he, like the two other men battling the fiends with skilled blades, seemed to be protecting her. This must be the summoner those blitz players were talking about.

She glanced back at the Neanderthal who, in his first moments discovering fire, had ignited the ship; he would have to wait. She threw her guns in the summoner’s direction and pulled her triggers thrice in alternation, bullets grazing the summoner's tresses before plunging into the Sinspawn at her back. Thirty-three. A thin smile spread on her face as the pyreflies meandered to the sky.

Aurora needed a way off the island. It would be a matter of time before she would be hunted for stealing a precious sphere from the island's temple. And more than likely her younger brother would be leading the hunt. She had to find a way fast. The first part of her plan had been to steal the sphere and she hadnt thought of much beyond that. She raced to the docks but all the boats were gone. There was no way for her to leave the island.

Now what do I do? They're probably looking for me now. she thought.

She looked around to see airships not too far away. She didnt know how to pilot one but her mind wasnt on that. She just wanted to escape.

She started running over towards the airships. Up ahead of her she could see that the gate was being guarded. She kept going. Nothing was going to stop her from her ultimate goal.

She grabbed her dual blades and ran up to the guards. THe guards could see her coming. They handled spears and were getting ready for her attack. They could tell what she was doing.

"You stop. You're not allowed on the airship field."

Aurora ignored the guard. She got up to the guards. One guard thrusted his spear at her. She bent backwards to allow the spear to pass over her. She then dropped to her knees leaned forward and sliced at the guards ankles, causing him to fall to the ground. She quickly jumped up as the other guard tried the same thing. While in the air she grabbed the spear and used it to pull her body towards the guards. She kicked him in the chest, knocking him over and held his spear in her hand. She then broke the spear in half and threw the pieces on the ground.

She walked forward and knelt down placing the blade of one of her dual blades near the groin of the guard. The other guard was still on the ground screaming in pain.

"Do you know how to pilot an airship?" she asked him.

The man was shaking. He didnt say a word.

"Do you know how to pilot an airship!? If i have to ask again I'm going to slice up your groin."

The man shook even harder. He opened his mouth.

"Y...yes I do."

"Well then you're gonna be my pilot."

She grabbed him and lifted him up holding her blade to his neck.

"Go take me to one that you can fly."

As they started to walk away she could hear more guards coming. They hurridly went to the closets airship. The guard opened it and they went inside. It was a small airship. Only seated 4. He sat in the cockpit and started the airship.

"Hurry up!" she yelled. She could see many guards coming towards them.

The airship lifted off the ground.

"Where am I taking you?"

"Just fly away from the island for now. If you get me away I'll spare you life."

As they got higher and higher Aurora looked down. Others were getting into the other airships. She looked closely at one guy....her younger brother. He was getting into an airship with a pilot. It seemed to be what she expected. She was being hunted and they chose her own brother to find her and bring her to justice.

"Hurry go!" she yelled as the airship took off...with many more in pursuit of her.

Mt. Gagazet, the resting place of the fayth that dream up the aeons. Alive but not alive. One could feel the very aura of the strength of the fayth. The essence of each being is simply amazing. Pyreflies further heighten the majestic feel of the area. As for Miah's presence, someone was calling him there. Yet the voice had been revealed to him ever since he was a child growing up on Kilika Island. Guiding him in every action, giving him information that he could not see without even having an inclination to care. Being part of such a blessing, Miah grew up to look at this entity as more of a guardian angel than a mere voice.

Still not having control of his landing, Miah fell from the sky about 30 meters above the ground. "Oh shiiii--!" he shouted flailing his limbs before inevitably crashing into the ground. "Ugh I really need to work on that" Miah raised himself from the ground and rotated his left arm back cracking it back into socket. He looked up only to gaze at the wall of fayth. Bodies trapped in stone twisted into positions for all eternity. Miah had been there for the eternal calm praying that he would get his chance to destroy Sin and Yu Yevon. But things often go awry. And as for the entity of Shuyin and Vegnagun, he hadn't even been awake for that. Although now it was his turn to make a mark and 'capture' the dream of the fayth.

Seeing that he'd been in awe for a while now, Miah finally heard a voice. "You have arrived" the voice had been heard from behind Miah resulting in a quick turn to face that direction. A lone statue trapped in a position holding out a rather large blade with the hilt facing upward. Miah took hesitant steps toward the stone figure with his mouth slightly open and beads of sweat appearing on his forhead. "Okay hopefully this'll be quick and painless," he pleaded before finally approaching within 3 feet of the figure's weapon. The statue began to come into color showing vibrant and loud reds, blues, and greens. All except for the blade which remained a matte gray.

"We will become one, under a simple condition," the fayth continued. "Free me from this wretched dream!"

"Eh and how would I go about doing that?"

"Simply destroy Sin."

Miah thought about his answer before hastily blurting it out. Surely the bond between himself and a fayth would be nothing short of absolute power. And his goal of achieving the dream of Zanarkand would only be beneficial. There might be consequences but it could be worth it. Miah grabbed the hilt of the fayth and a sudden rush of power surged through his veins. A white aura encompassed Miah's figure and quickly dimmed down. Surprisingly enough, his entire figure had changed, attire and all. Everything from his bandana to the sneakers on his feet shimmered a bright silver. One could almost say it was...heavenly. "Don't worry, it'll al be over fast." With that said, Miah reverted back to his original state and departed into the winds once again.

She could only watch as the people who stepped up to the plate performed what they had promised; so far, Lucille had been unharmed, meaning that they were doing a decent job.

At least they were doing more than she could do.

At the moment, she couldn't summon; her only capable offense was a spell that would take up nearly all her energy, and the last thing she wanted was to collapse in the middle of battle. Feeling slightly irked at her own helplessness, Lucille could only watch as everyone fought the Sinspawn. One Guardian suggested they go to Luca, but she shook her head, stating, "No, we need to go to Besaid!" Before she could say another word, the ship they were headed to suddenly lit on fire, having caught aflame from a spell one of them had cast.

"I hope that wasn't our ship."

And somehow, I have a bad feeling that is was... Lucille bit her lip, wishing that she had studied Black Magic. Then at least she could've put out the fire.

Or, you know, do something, too.

She let out a surprised gasp as three bullets grazed her, making her jump and trip over a small bump. Either these guys are unintentionally trying to kill me, or they're trying to scare me half to death... Lucille gave a small sigh as she picked herself up, looking again towards the ship. Luckily, the fire had been put out, and many a crew member were urging them to come aboard. With a small breath, Lucille concentrated on every Sinspawn around them, closing her eyes as she summoned Blue Tear, her staff, in her hands.

"Slow!"

In a flash, every Sinspawn immediately came to a close halt, moving as if each had been put in slow motion. Again Lucille concentrated, this time on each of her allies.

"Haste!"

Another flash, and this time, each one of them gained a temporary speed boost. Hopefully that'll be of some use...

"Curaga!" a green aura surrounded Fletcher and his wounds from the fire were healed.
"The idiot that set this boat on fire is going to be killed first." Fletcher left his shadow form and summoned his armour to be ready for a fight. Then he captured a crew member and grabbed him by the neck. Fletcher then walked to the front of the boat and faced the heroes.
"Now my dear heroes you are about to witness what happens if you wreck our plans." Lightning started to gather in the arm that Fletcher was holding the crew member by.
"What's your name." Fletcher asked the crew member.
"P...Pavlo." He replied.
"Pavlo hmm? Nice knowing you then." The lightning in his arm crackled, then the man screamed but then there was silence. Fletcher dropped the mans electrified body and looked at the heroes again.
"From now on heroes every time you wreck our plans we will kill people." Fletcher looked directly at Lady Lucille. "Who knows we might result to hunting you down. One by one. We will meet again heroes." Fletcher then turned into a shadow and shot towards the direction of Besaid...

As Lucille said that they need to get to Besaid. Renn had no choice but to respond while he was striking his foes with newfound speed.
"Lady Lucille, The reason I say we get to Luca is because we can take the ferry to Besaid from there. And as our ship was just destroyed, I say we head there." His blade kept slicing and dicing until he leapt back next to Lucille again. A red aura came about him. "Power break!" Renn charged right ahead and struck a Sinspawn fatally as the Aura resolved. "We need to go through Macalania woods, The thunder plains, guadosalam, the moonflow, then follow the mushroom rock road and then the Mi'hien Highroad before we reach Luca."
