This is called the Gaia theory that when everything dies, it returns to the planet. It's in the FF movie : Spirits Within. It's just an idea that Square Likes but it would have been cool for Yuna to meet Cloud, as long as it doesnt disrupt the FF7 story.

Why would that be "cool"? Final Fantasy is good because each story is independent.

Umm when you say that the last game will connect all FF.... DAR the game is KH2.... nah joking....i don't really know if the last game will connect all FF games... but it would be cool if Cloud, Squall and Tidus all meet each other somehow

Actually, Kingdom Hearts is almost as independent as each Final Fantasy. You just see character cameos and guest appearances. You could easily take out the Final Fantasy characters in Kingdom Hearts and still have a complete story.

They can't be connected because they're two very different games, same name, different series. Just cause they have the same names doesn't mean they're connected, and just cause they're talking and doing the same things with the life force doesn't mean its connected. Ive played and finished both games. FF-X2, the life force is the heart of the farplane and in there hidden away is V*******.

What i dont get is, The game is Final fantasy right? Final fantasy but they keep going. But maybe they're talking about the one last and final game which joins together, maybe? Now Squirellyizaac's statement is getting to me....

#*%^@ I made another long paragraph.....actually 2...

It's obvious that FFX-2 and FF7 are NOT connected. FFX-2 is about finding Tidus or someone who looks like him and FF7 is about stopping Sephiroth. So this is why they are NOT connected.

Squaresoft was in a dire financial situation at one time, and they were only able to make one last game. That game was "Final Fantasy", because it would have been their final game. Luckily for Squaresoft, Final Fantasy sold well enough to keep them afloat, and I believe you know the rest.

It's amazing how many people jump to conclusions on this matter. People are really jumpy these days.

Yeah, if people don't know where the name of the seires came from, then they can't be considered fans. Just annoyances.

Anywho, the remarks made in FFX-2 about the unique properties of the world of FF7 were basically a joke . . . much like the rest of the game was a joke. Was I the only one to notice the blatent sillyness of FFX-2? Basically, Shinra makes a reference to FF7 and you're supposed to laugh and go "Hey they're talking about FF7!" and then maybe you smile, and then you keep playing.

If you have trouble following those instructions, let me know, I'll see if I can order a sense of humor for you on Ebay.

FFX-2 was supposed to be a silly, light-hearted game. It was just that...and to a sickening extent. I'm all for humor, but there was none present from what I played.

Then again...they're probably NOT connected. None of them are. They're seperate games. Always has, always will( unless they have a sequel...Obvious.......)But it'll be cool if they had a FF game where all da characters meet (main characters) Beside KH, if that counts.

They have Itadaki Street where from what I know, they will have some of the FF characters (7-10 only I think) in there. Let me know if I'm wrong please ^_^

But I think that FF7 and FFX-2 are NOT connected. They never will be.
