FF7 Sephiroth's sword item

when I played FF7, I got the Sephiroth's sword item from Gold Sauser. What is it used for

Nothing, although on ff7citadel.net there is a rumor that it unlocks him as a playable character.

It's one of those things Square-Enix didnt finish... It is kind of confirmed that FF7 isnt a finished project... that's probably one of those unfinished business... Just like those soldier-action figues you can obtain..

If they remake FF7, maybe they'll fix it

If you got a gameshark or something, and you get that item , you put in a code and you play as Sephiroth.. going after sephiroth... anyways.. thats all I know.

I know I've done that cheat alot, anf the Zack cheat as well

Yeah, problem is, when ever you went into a sequence with all your party it would freeze (well mine would anyway).

thats why use use them before the final boss but don't save, just fight with them for fun
