.... Okay, done? Good, so WOW FREAKIN' WOW! That's Felix Baumgartner, and if the titles of this thread didn't give it away, he's a professional stunt-diver, and the first man to officially skydive to earth from space. To top it all off, this entire thing was made possible by Red Bull, that's right, maybe they won't really give you wings, but they sure as hell expect you to fly.

It's a true testament to the time we're living in when an energy drink puts up the money to have a man skydive to the earth from Freaking Space. So what is your opinion on this whole thing? Is he crazy? A hero? A man of LEGEND?! Share your thought's and feelings below!

Well somebody was eventually going to do it. But wow, that's some scary stuff.
I can assure you I don't have the guts to do that. :/

Now he can go on the Guiness World Records for "highest skydive ever made."

^^This.
And probably for "most fearless man". Think about it, any number of things could have gone wrong. If they had, he would literally be soup. It takes courage to take that risk. I can respect that.

If a man can skydive from space to earth and live, then there's no reason why Batman gliding around a real life Gotham City isn't theoretically possible either.

Take that science!

I don't have time to watch the video right this second, but for a minute there, the guy was extremely close to dying. If the insane spinning had continued, the blood would've rushed to his outer extremities and killed him, which would be lame.

But it didn't, and now, he's a legend.

Simple, it's gravity.

Humans are too heavy to glide. Even with wings, heck the closest a human can ever get through gliding. It's through paragliding.

and the first man to officially skydive to earth from space.

Correction, he wasn't the first - Joseph Kittinger, who was also Felix Baumgartner's mentor during this project, was.
