OK, no preamble! What are your top 3 favorite music scores? And I'm talkin about the stuff that doesn't have words in it. You can have a score that's based off a song if it is one of your faves, or maybe YOU'VE composed something yourself?

For example, my top 3 are:
1. Hikari Orchestra (Yoko Shimomura - Kingdom Hearts series)
2. The Legend Comes to Life (Donna Summer - Pokemon 2000)
3. To the Stars (Randy Edelman - Dragonheart)

Please give credit where credit is due! If you don't know the composer, please search it so that we can all find it and see why you love it so much! Also: I am completely OK with posting more than 3! I wanna hear what you like, but if you've got more to share, it's completely ok!

This is right up my alley. I love listening to music scores. I personally believe that a song that manages to express itself and evoke real human emotion without the use of words is truly great. My personal favorite are:

1. Don't Think About Elephants - Hans Zimmer (Inception)

2. Arkham City Main Theme - Nick Arundel

3. Aqua - Yoko Shimomura (Birth By Sleep)

I have a thing for violins and piano. I think they make an orgasmic combination. I also reaally love Hans Zimmer's work. The Inception album is one of my all time favorites, and I LOVE the work he did on The Dark Knight trilogy. His pieces on Man of Steel left a lot to be desired however.

1. The Price of Freedom-Takeharu Ishimoto (Crisis Core: Final fantasy 7)

2. Up is down- Hans Zimmer

3.Vector to the Heavens- Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom hearts 358/2 days)

"This Land" from The Lion King - Hans Zimmer

"Always on my Mind" from Kingdom Hearts - Yoko Shimomura

"Married Life" from Up - Michael Giacchino

Those would probably be my top 3. Changes often, though, haha.
