Fate of vanitas

is vanitas really gone from existence forever like xion is?
to behones vanitas is like my new favorite chracter with roxas at second and riku and kairi trailing behind them. He's proably the best villain i've seen his evil only be limited to the fact that the game is rated E10. i really hope ha can come back agin for sora to fight.

He merged, or so I think, back with Ventus and gave back his darkness.

no there is no doubt vanitas is gone unless in a future game someone takes out the darkness from sora or something...in which case vanitas would actually look like Roxas and Ventus

I don't think he's gone forever, though it will be much harder to get him out of Ventus now. If anything, Vanitas could have been split between both Ven and Sora, due to the connections between their hearts.

No dude, he is gone. If he wasn't defeated then Ven wouldn't be in a comatose state. If Vanitas exists then Ven would be concious.

True. The same thing happened somewhat with Xehanort, as his heart is split between Terra and MX.

Vanitas was defeated, I acknowledge that. But, there are always ways to bring someone dead back.

Ven went into the comatose state because his heart had become so strong with the light because that's all he had, that when Vanitas reentered him, it basically brought everything to a halt. When Aqua does find Ven and awakens him, that gives his darkness, Vanitas, the chance to return as well.

Not necessarily true. Vanitas wasn't created naturally like other forms of darkness. MX artificially extracted the darkness from Ven and molded it INTO Vanitas, so his circumstances surrounding his possible revival is skewed.

But it isn't neccesary to bring back Vanitas. Ansem SOD only appeared again because of Riku's struggle with his darkness.

And you consider that a "necessary" reason for his return? We would have been just as well off with a storyline in which he hadn't returned and Riku simply struggled with accepting his own darkness.

Any villain returning can almost immediately be classified as unnecessary. It doesn't automatically make it a bad thing, though.
In any case, considering that you have no idea how Vanitas could/would return, you're not really in a position to say whether it's necessary or not.

please dont compare him to shadow, and if what the secret bbs ending is implying that sora must save and release all good chracter who were sealed,died, or etc. then whats wrong with bring back vanitas
