Re: Fate of A Hero
Roxas
"Gah…my head-" Roxas rubbed his temple and opened his eyes, to see a slender figure walking away. He blinked as he regained consciousness, then scrambled up.
"H-hey!" He called after her. She stopped, suddenly.
"What." She demanded. A light cycle materialized before her. Roxas scratched his head.
"Er-" Roxas hesitated. What now? "What's-what are you doing?" He smacked his forehead (well, the helmet's outer part) in stupidity. She sighed.
"I need to find MCP." She then lifted her hand to show him. "And inject this." A USB. Why a USB?
"Er, need help?" Roxas asked. Akira laughed.
"Thanks, but no thanks. I got it." She then straddled the cycle and began to leave.
"No, wait!" Roxas was to late, for she sped off, leaving only a beam of light behind. He sighed in exasperation.
"Roxas? Come in Roxas?" Someone cackled in his ear. Roxas brought his hand to his ear.
"Roxas? It's Demyx!"
"Demyx?" He asked, cautiously. On the other line, Demyx laughed.
"What are you up to, brah?" Roxas then heard "DEMYX!" In the background. It sounded like Vexen.
"Oh yeah, right. Okay Roxas, we need you to help Akira get to MCP." He said causually. Roxas nodded.
"But, Xane?"
"Who is in possession of the USB?" Demyx asked.
"Akira."
"Then you help her. If Xane gets possession, you help her." Demyx answered. Roxas stayed silent.
"Okay." He answered, sighing.
"Alright! Now Akira needs two more levels to meet MCP, but Zexion and Vexen have located Akira's coordinates and she is heading towards the "End of Line" Dance Club. Find her-wait, does she know you're-?"
"No," Roxas answered, "She isn't aware of who I am or if I'm here." Roxas began stepping out of the pod, wondering how long this time-stop would last.
"Okay. We need you to get Akira to trust you enough, and help her get to MCP. BUT, you need to look out for Tron."
"Tron?"
"Yeah. Tron has had contact with Akira and tried to tell her not to get to MCP. If you see him, keep him AWAY from Akira. Akira is looking for 'the one who can help'. His name is Zuse. " Demyx's connection began to fuzz.
"Demyx?" Roxas called, hearing no response. "Hello?!"
"Rox-light cycle-Tron-hurry!"
"Demyx!"
No response. Roxas summoned a light cycle the Akira had done so before and followed the beam of light Akira had left behind.

Akira
Akira had exited the arena not long ago, letting her time-stop run on. The city scape was now familiar in her own eyes, the black and waxed asphalt reflecting the light off her light cycle. She came to a stop as she found a lone person on the road.
"Don't go any further!" The person shouted. Akira sighed and hopped of her light cycle.
"Tron?" She asked. His helmet came off. Akira neared him cautiously.
"I can't let you go further, User. Clu is dangerous and if he finds you are a living User in a program's world, he will want to use you."
"Clu?" She asked. "I'm looking for MCP."
"Clu is in all essence MCP. MCP is just the computer program in which Clu works with. Clu is the real threat." Tron circled Akira, eyeing her. "You've upgraded." He said.
Akira looked down, to see her old suit converting into black, the blue filament glowing brightly. She grinned.
"Where can I find Clu?" She demanded. Tron shook his head.
"No," He pressed. Akira put her hand on her hip.
"Seriously. Tron, just tell me where to find Clu, my light cycle will fade." Akira gestured to her light cycle disappearing for moments. Tron sighed.
"The "End of Line" Club. Find the one who can help."
Akira sighed in response. "Tron, really! You need to tell me more! I'm lost here, and my light cycle will be gone for an hour if you don't hurry and tell me where and who the one who can help is!"
An engine roared loudly, and a blue light cycle pulled up next to them. Akira looked at the unknown program on the cycle, then at her own cycle, to see it disappear before her eyes. She groaned.
"Get on." The program demanded. That voice…
"You're the user I beat in the final!" She accused. Roxas smiled inside his helmet.
"User, you have no business here! As do you, young girl." Tron interjected, pulling his disk from his back.
"There's no need for that, Tron." Roxas replied. He looked over at Akira. "Hop on. I know who you're looking for."
Akira hesitated, then ran to the User, sitting behind him and wrapping her arms around his waist. She squeezed him a bit, then rested her head on his back.
"End of Line." She said. Roxas revved the engine and sped off. Tron sighed.
"They're going to get killed." He said, putting his disk back on his back and watching the two of the only three users still alive in this world speeding to their uncertain destination.
