It's nothing Solid, but I do believe that Memories can contain enough of a Sense of Self to create a Being. If a person also was to lose all his Memories, it would be like he never even existed - thus, Unbirths.

That doesn't account for the clause of other people . If other remember that person, they'd not be forgotten, and it'd still be like they existed.

You're basing that on Maleficent's resurrection, aren't you?

That was something else entirely that had nothing to do with Kingdom Hearts.

2) Namine taking apart Sora's Memories and making for everyone else who shared those Memories to forget them too. It's a link between people, not a copy in each person's Heart

He did forget Sora, as DiZ himself attested in KH2 when he asked him about regaining his Memories, to which Rikunort replied that "the haze is clearing". Sora was remembering, and as a result - everyone who shared the Memories with him.

He remembered Sora as far as his fight against Roxas. Seeing however how in Days, Sora's Memory reconstruction went highwire and that's why they even went to fetch Roxas, it further strengthens the notion that Namine didn't wipe Sora's Memories completely until after Roxas was brought back.
Riku did forget, as did everyone else - they just took their sweet time forgetting.

You're assuming too much with that. Namine's power to affect Sora's memories isn't the end all solution; that doesn't even apply to the situation at hand.

A person who loses their memories doesn't become something else. Memories haven't really been shown to create a separate entity. You'll probably counter with something like "not seen=/= doesn't exist" which in itself is true. But memories have been a recurring theme since the beginning, so if memories were to become a form, it'd have been done.

But moreover, if a person lost their memories, they'd not become an Unbirth, ala Sora. If the memories do vanish, where's Sora's unbirth? It can't be Xion as Xion is somebody's nobody; likely to be Kairi's.

The lack of memories doesn't erase you from people's memories. Sora's the only case in which that applies. This is because Namine rearranged said memories. Assuming that this is the case in BBS is too far of a leap to even connect.

Just because there is an absence of evidence, doesn't mean that the highly stupid outrageous is valid.
