It really depends on what you want to achieve. I suppose it could be used as an alert screen, like someone's in trouble so they run away for a little bit and tell their friends to come over and heal him or fight the boss.

I guess that's pretty useful. I remembered that you could share items in Days (I think only in multiplayer? not sure) between friends. You could use the screen to let them know when you need items maybe?

Ok. Vexen was making a puppet out of Memories. Screams were heard from his laboratory during him working on that experiment.

I support that theory. It makes sense, and has some evident backup. Vexen likes toying around with things and is a scientist, so it's obviously nothing out of the blue that he'd be making a puppet of memories, possibly meaning Xion.
But what would he be making the puppet from? ouo Like, what base would he use to start making it? Something other than memories, or just memories? Because memories aren't strong enough to take form.

I do wonder, if this theory is true and about what you said, how Vexen or the Organization managed to get their hands on Aqua.

Rain said something about there being people locked in the basement of the castle at RG or something similar a while back. If Aqua was one of the first experiments, it wouldn't be that hard to track her down again later.

For the most part it does. I do see their being complications when applying the theory to other Xion issues like why she was let in by Xemnas. The only reason I can see would be that he would have not known about it and just thought "KEYBLADE" except she doesn't get one right away so...
