It definitely makes me believe she separated from Kairi. I'm not sure what event would have triggered it, but I'm assuming the entire Hollow Bastion debacle might have had something to do with it. D:
Hence, her appearance still resembles Kairi's during the KHI events.
Really, I have no idea.

I think if she really did spawn from Kairi, it was on the night of the storm. It's the only occasion we know of that makes sense. Alternatively, an event we don't know of.

I do tend to believe Sora's Memories are affecting her though. With how much the game's supposed to be focusing around the Organization and with how little they were shown in the trailers, and the whole trailer focusing around Xion, it's hard for me to believe they'd just 'accidentally' show parts about Sora's Memories without them being Xion-related.
KH2 showed wonderfully Sora didn't know what Kairi looked like in KH2 in the scene he imagined dancing with her in Halloween Town. Thus, if Xion was affected by his Memories of Kairi/Namine (which were messed with the most, not just added/removed during CoM) she would look like KH1 Kairi.

Yes. Night of the storm => the storm on Destiny Islands on the night the Islands disappeared and Kairi's Heart left her Body and moved into Sora's.
Xion being a 'special Nobody' could mean she's a Special Nobody because she came from a PoH whose Heart couldn't become a Heartless.
I'd say that would make her Special.

It makes me wonder. If there is no Heartless, she should be able to fully rejoin with her Somebody if she disappeared without going through the process of destroying her Heartless first. I wonder if she actually joined back willingly (considering I'm not sure Xion even comes back in contact with Kairi), or perished, and then simply rejoined with Kairi that way.

Or is it Roxas/Sora she should be trying to join back with? Gosh, it's confusing. :<

Namine returned to Kairi. If Namine, a Nobody that came from Sora's Body and Soul returned to the person whose Heart based her, I don't see why Xion - a Nobody that has a higher chance to have came from Kairi's B+S - wouldn't.

In the second scan that just appeared under the leaked trailer on KHI homepage; in the top right corner there is a picture of what I think is Riku, and he is wielding the Kingdom Key. I don't ever remember Riku having the kingdom key. I was wondering if anyone remembers Riku ever wielding the Kingdom Key. The only time I can think of him maybe wielding it is in KH1 when Riku takes Soras key at the beginning of Hollow Bastion. I couldn't remember if he got the KK or not.

It probably doesn't mean anything whether or not Riku can wield the KK, but I thought I'd ask and point out that Riku has the KK in the second scan.

He beat Xion and snatched it from her. No he never obtained a KK

well i watched the trailer and lookd at the pics and ive been reasoning

if xion is a keyblade user she has to be the nobody of one

that leaves us with

riku
roxas
and mickey

we can assume shes not roxases since he is a nobody
sora i think shouldnt be but im nto 100 % counting it out yet

that leaves riku and mickey
now it could be riku but i firgured he doesnt normally use the norma keys and he only cna use the dawn one.

but mickey on the other hand uses the kingdom key and i think that it could be him, i mean she has black hair and kind of resembles him somewhat with the black hair and all. plus mickey and riku became heartless when they went into the dorr to darkness.

this is where i get riku or mickey has my ideas
