Ehh...Reno and Axel?

Actually I don't think it could've considering the fact that the org.'s names are their original names mixed up and with an x added.....and there is no "R" or "O" in Axel so I think it's pretty safe to say that Axel being Reno's nobody is complete crap.

Or "N" =D .. just saying.

Kawaii is probably right by saying that Nomura got ideas for Reno from Axel. Well at least KH2 Axel because they were gunna have the same VA.

And I'm pretty sure none of the other organization members were based off of turks because none of the others are alike. Though... I do think Loz and Lexaeus look alike.. hehe but that's just an observation.

You can't say for certain that Axel is Reno's Nobody, or that he's not.

Simple fact: We have no idea who Axel is the Nobody of. Because it's not relevent.

And just because Reno wasn't in the game says nothing. If Axel REALLY was Reno's Nobody, would you really expect to see Reno walking around. Plus, we saw Cloud, Aeris, Cid, and Sephiroth.

And I really don't think the name HAS to be an anogram. Or else Axel is really 'Ale' or 'Lea'.

And Demyx seems a little... odd as well.

Though, those are my opinions, and I said before, impossible to prove, or disprove.

And it really doesn't matter.

First off, I used to be pretty active here on this forum but i doubt any of you guys know who me but eh. I just wanted to point out that yes indead Normura stated that all the organization members names are anagrams of their true selves with an "x" added. but did anyone stop to think that for one: Xamnes' actual body before he lost his heart and was split into a heartless and a nobody was Xehanort? but besides that does anyone stop to think that when japanese games are translated into english that they sometimes mix up the names of characters and such to make it easier to say and sound? I PERSONALY believe that Axel is Reno's nobody. But that makes no difference since Nomura has not released the characters that where each organization members true selves. I think that he has not done this because some of the games that some of the organization members are based off of aren't out yet. Did he not mention somewhere that all the organization members (besides Xamnes and Roxas) where going to be based off of Final Fantasy characters? hmm... maybe I'll go look that up in the news archives. And yes, I do believe that knowing who they're real characters are is important. It kinda explains a little why those Nobodies would join the organization and the way they act a bit. Anyways... I do wish Nomura would release that bit of imformation so that people would stop making all kinds of weird speculations about the organization members, i personally would like to know too.

This thread have been talk a lot of times and of course, both Axel and Reno are voiced by the same voiceactor in Japan and US version of FF:AC and KH2 and they both have similarities. Also, Nomura seems to based all the members of Organization XIII from the Turks and other characters from Final Fantasy VII, VIII or X? Example. Demyx looks exactly like Zell Dinct of Final Fantasy VIII.

Nomura took Reno's favorite drink (Ale) and used that to make the name Axel, through the method of re-arranging the letters and placing an X in it.

Just watched Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. (awesome, by the way)
Reno looks, acts, and sounds (same VA), a lot like Axel. I'm sure plenty of you have noticed. A few other turks also look kinda like Organization members too. Elena or that one girl from Before Crisis could be Larxene... I wish that it wasn't just a coincidence. The fanfiction community would explode.

That and when Reno gets throw by Loz and lands on the ground, there is an insignia on it that looks kinda like the nobody symbol... a little.

actually they sound the same because the guy that does reno and axel's voice s in english is the same guy. if you go on imdb, you'll see that.

Xaldin-Lulu, from FFX. I know it sounds odd, but think about it.
Vexen-Hojo, from FFVII. I have always known this; I assume other people know as well. The Japanese VA for Hojo is also the VA for Vexen. And Paul Eiding would make an awesome Vexen.
Lexaeus-I don't know. I feel like I should know, but I don't.
Zexion-Vincent Valentine, from FFVII. Young Vincent from Dirge of Cerberus looks EXACTLY like Zexion. Go see for yourself.
Saix-Some say Seymour. I say Tseng. He looks more like Seymour. He acts nothing like Seymour. He acts like Tseng.
Axel-Reno, as has been discussed.
Demyx-Zell, from FFVIII. This is the one that people know the most after Axel/Reno. It's kind of obvious.
Luxord-Again, I ought to know, but I don't.
Marluxia-I would say Aerith, but she's already in KH. Drives me bananas, but I don't know...maybe he's the Kuja-based one...
Larxene-Quistis, from FFVIII. I don't know why I think that. I just do. She acts more like Quistis than Elena.
Roxas-Rufus Shin-Ra, from FFVII. That's just my personal opinion. I doubt it's true. I used it as a dramatic irony once.

I agree. I didn't know Reno's favorite drink was ale though. Now that can definitely be Axel's real name. And common sense will say is Ale because there is really no other fitting name, the rest will sound like a girl. Then again, Terra...

I always called Axel the Reno of the KH series. If I ever wonder how will Axel look like in CGI, I'll simply take a look at FFVII: AC. I swear, the exact same face.

I'm surprised by how many look-alikes the Org. has. I knew the Demyx and Larxene similarities from FF, but not the others. I thought Denzel from FFVII looked like Roxas more than anything though.

And is not only even the Org. members. Sora blatantly looks like a mini-Cloud, Riku looks like Sephiroth, and Kairi...don't know. A probable mix of Aerith and Tifa.

Axel looks like Reno just because they're from the same character designer.

Unless Reno says "got it memorized" too often, wields Flaming chakrams, and is smart enough to play double agent and fall for a 14 year old blondie, I'm not seeing it. You need to grasp the concept of Mannerisms,Squeenix's budget, and the limits of Nomura's imagination.

Maybe Squeenix wants Axel to act like Reno, maybe they ran out of money to hire a new voice actor, maybe Nomura's running out of character ideas. He's using a gunblades and crystals in FF13, for crying out loud.
