E3 2011 Predictions & Discussion

From Sony:

Uncharted 3, Twisted Metal, NGP line-up and price and release date, the MGS NGP game, Talk about 3D gaming and the Move, probably starting off by apologizing again for what happened to the PSN and saying its going to be more secure from now on, possibly a price drop, and The Last Guardian.

What I want is more game collections being announced, and new exclusives or at least one new one announced. Thats all I got for now.

From MS:

More Kinect crap, Gears 3 being mostly talked about, and one or two new features for XBL that are supposed to be worth paying $60 a year.

What I want is a price drop (possibly a bundle?), and a new game announcement as big as Halo or Gears cause they are dry with exclusives.

From Nintendo:

Project Cafe info, 3DS games and new things coming to it, probably some things coming to the Wii to keep it alive.

I dont really care what Nintendo announces unless its about KH DDD.

And if Square Enix talks about stuff I wanna hear about BBS Vol. 2, FF Versus XIII, and FFXIII-2.

If nothing else I would like to see the official reveal of a Warhawk sequel.
I hope to see a teaser for GTA V and the debut trailer for Agent with a smattering of screenshots.
I expect to get a teaser for Modern Warfare 3, boasting that it will blow Battlefield 3 out of the water.
I hope to get a lot more details on the NGP and for it to receive an official name.
I expect to see a new two and a half minute trailer on the story mode of Uncharted 3, revealing the inclusion of both Elaina and Chloe and for one of them to call that old British woman a bitch. Some gameplay demos will also be available.

There is none because it wasn't cancelled. Most likely he got it mixed up with The Agency, the cancelled MMO that SOE was working on. Tis a shame as I was really looking forward to that one.

Yeah, as far as I know it wasn't cancelled. The Agency was though as was mentioned before. It all happened during the SOE layoffs and a few other cancellations.

I'm thinking now, Sony Online Entertainment might announce the next Everquest installment for PC as well as PS3.

I want to see more of this Mario game for the 3ds..and also,I can't wait to see some new Zelda news, Nintendo already said they have something up their sleeve for the 25th anniversary and I wanna see the new Nintendo system, e3 is the place to be this year.(If you're a Nintendo nerd)

Other than that, I can't think of anything else I'm interested in this year. Last year was a tad bit more exciting to be honest. Unfortunately I won't be watching on a large screen TV like last year... huhu. I'll have to watch it streaming (hoping that there's streaming) or just on TV if that doesn't work out.

I'm pretty sure last year the Microsoft conference wasn't on G4, it was on some other channel. Just don't remember which one. I want to say Spike. But Nintendo and Sony were definitely on G4.

Sorry, There Will Be No Valve Games at E3 2011 - Kotaku

Hoping for the continuing adventures of Gordon Freeman and the long-awaited revelation of Half-Life 2: Episode Three at this year's E3? Well, hope a little less today. Valve has said it's not bringing any games to this year's expo.

"Lots of folks have mailed asking about appointment times with Valve," reads an e-mail from the company. "Well, we are not showing any titles at this year's show. So no appointment is needed."

Anybody heard about this yet? Some people there's more to it and that Gabe will surprise everyone, and some say it's just that. It's all over /v/. :c
