Might be a bit early to include Princess and the Frog in this, but Facilier would be a great addition to the Villain Squad. I know that I recently did a chapter in my fanfic involving Princess and the Frog, and I got a number of reviews from people wondering what the world I was going on about was. But that could just be the older generation not going out to see new Disney movies for some reason.
If he gets himself a Villain Team, Hades has to be on it, because he's Hades and he's really just in it for kicks anyway. Facilier/Shadow Man would work. I couldn't stand another shot at Oogie Boogie because I think we're done with Nightmare. Who else could we count on to be a Villain that hasn't already been dealt with? Shere Khan, Commander Rourke (though he wouldn't exactly have been counted as a Villain just like Clayton), Hook's still around... I can't think of anymore good villains without delving into Pixar. Anybody else got anything?
Agreed on Hades and Commander Rourke. Judge Frollo? He'd be tough to work in, but he could work. I see him being a bit of a wild card too as far as a Villain team goes. And he's already a guarantee villain in 3D.
Anyone seen Tron: Legacy? This guy, Clu

I have a ton of ideas on how this would work - some of them I was brainstorming with people over in the Worlds thread. And I have new ideas too, lol.
Pocahontas is a world that hasn't been used yet. And with Pocahontas comes John Radcliffe. He'd be a decent mid-level lackey working with his own world.
Then there's John Silver from Treasure Planet, although I haven't seen the whole movie to be certain on that one.
And then if you don't mind villains from human based Disney movies (aside from Tron), there's also the White Witch from Narnia, and Lord Cutler Beckett from Pirates of the Caribbean for a supremely based manipulative villain. Davy Jones is far more menacing, yes - but he's tied to his ship. And he's a...slightly different type of villain.
Oh yes - and Sa'luk from Aladdin and the King of Thieves. But I don't want to see anything Aladdin related until KH3. Granted, there is a treasure trove of things that Squeenix can pull from the TV series but....yeah, let's take a break from Agrabah for at least one more game. Not seeing it in BBS was very nice.
After that, my mind goes to Pixar, and even then there aren't that many feasibly working villains. Except for one, but that movie isn't coming out until 2012 - she'd absolutely have to wait until KH3. It's a "wise woman" from the movie Brave. With what little we know of her (which is almost nothing), for some reason I still feel she has potential.
I left out the Sheriff of Nottingham because.....I didn't find him to be all that intimidating and threatening. Sherwood Forest strikes me as a world that would be an easy combat level to get through for some reason.
Also, I would like to see Squeenix revamping Olympic Colesium - or at least consider it? I am sick to death of the games in the Colesium, and Hades's only interest being who can he hire to wipe out Hercules and fail every time. Let there be a real problem in that world and add in a cameo or two from the Gods! We can even flip Hades on his head and add in someone that would make Sora and co utterly confused as to which side he's on: Persephone. Disney avoided the squicky incest in Greek mythology, so can Squeenix. Persephone would be a good character to become a little symbol of the need for light/dark balance anyway. While it was never actually shone, with a little bit of creativity the Sword in the Stone can be the new tournament world.
I would dearly love to see Persephone, or at least have somebody mention her existence. She was completely non-existent in the Disney film just as Hera was completely not-enraged at Hercules' existence.
Spoiler Show
Sora and co come to Olympus Colesium. It's a total wasteland. The place is dark, it looks wrecked with almost no life except for a few daring stragglers. They find Phil, who has informed them that the games have been canceled indefinitely because Hades has actually managed to cause long-term chaos. How? By kidnapping Persephone (springtime name: Kore). Her mother Demeter has turned the entire world into a wasteland until she gets her daughter back. Sora and co volunteer to go down to the Underworld to try and get Persephone, and Hercules becomes an actual party member. When they get there, they find out that Persephone is actually staying of her own volition. Why? Because her time in the Underworld has unleashed her own darkness, and she's ashamed to go back up to Olympus. Hades thinks its hilarious, because he actually didn't do a thing to help her. It was just her time spent in the underworld that messed up her powers as a goddess. But regardless, Hades isn't interested in her leaving. To keep up his uber bad guy facade, Squeenix could twist the actual reason why Persephone was kidnapped by Hades. It's pretty easy to do. Riku coming here is a must, because Persephone's woes is right up his alley.
I just mentioned the Sheriff because he'd be the fighting boss. Prince John is just a comical villain.Pixar has Hopper, and Nottingham would probably have Prince John as the villain with the Sheriff as his Dragon.
Going to Sword and the Stone though, I would SO love it if we got to joust! Or even if we saw-
THAT'S IT!!

To make Kingdom Hearts better just add Chocobos, with lances, and jousting, and Arthur and Excalibur.
Oh, and the chocobos shoot lasers out of their eyes, and they belch fire from their mouths and their saliva has the capability to heal grievous injuries. Oh! And whenever they say 'Kweh!' they emit a sonic pulse that one-shots any Heartless within a twenty-foot cone in front of the chocobo. I think Sora should name his bird 'Brightfeather'.
Ok lets say Malificent is still the main bad guy, shes dropped Pete from her team and hes gone back begging to be taken back into to Disney Town and they except. Malificent creates a new league of Villains with The Horned King, Frollo, Hades, Facilier, and Madame Mim. Characters like Frollo and Madame Mim can be introduced in KH3D and return in as part of the League of Villains in KH3. oh yah and add Chocobos, make the worlds bigger, more populated and active, have the worlds connect well into the overall plot, battle system like the Birth By Sleep Command Deck system, more character development for Sora, and make more challenging.
One glaring problem; there's no way in hell that the Horned King would willingly be an underling to Maleficent. Especially the KH Maleficent.
i dunno about Princess and the Frog ( although i own a copy i havent watched it =P), but what i want to see is Tangled, The woman who steels Rapunzel would be an excellent villain! And like in KHII, Flynn would be the teamate with an epic reaction command. The two thugs would be epic mini boss too. remember in KHI when there was a villain organization? they should do that again, but the villains should get some more freedom, like Hades Showing up and Kidnapping Rapunzel (hey, ill stick with her for a bit). but yeah that sorta thingMight be a bit early to include Princess and the Frog in this, but Facilier would be a great addition to the Villain Squad. Well I'm not sure about the Princess and the Frog but I really want to see some of the older Disney movies in DDD. That and a new main world like Twilight Town or Traverse Town.
Yeah, the voice actor's ages shouldn't be much of a problem (which makes it so much more of a tragedy that Frollo's original voice actor is gone - I can't believe he died!).
Here's a random idea: Malificent seeks for reconquest, but looks to get new minions. The Horned King is among them (she can probably resurrect him). The Horned King then overthrows her. He kills her, sends her back to Enchanted Dominion - doesn't matter. But he overthrows her.
And I love the idea that the Black Cauldron isn't in the original world - or maybe the events of the movie cause the cauldron to be thrown out of the world? I'm a bit rusty on the ending of that movie.
And The Horned King has to have other Disney Minions - threatening ones to, not one that can be clobbered over and over again like Pete. The villain interaction was one of the things I loved the most about KH1. What about Facilier? The Horned King is pretty much a supernatural dark being - he could be one of Facilier's "friends on the other side."
remember how KH1 was so exciting because of the table of villians?
well maybe we need that :L
it would seem very anxious as it was in KH1 when we were dreading the next villian, and only had slight clues on the whole party.
actually can think of villains yet to be used that would fit in with maleficent
who was her twin in enchanted
What I want is
-New Worlds
-Since It looks like it takes place within a dream world, given the trailer, It would make sense to include a Pinnochio World, the Tim Burton version of Wonderland, and a Sword in the Stone World.
-A mix between the KH1/KH2 battle system, BBS battle system, and added battle elements as seen in the trailer.
-Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed
-An easy to understand plot
-A surpring and unexpected plot. The trailers for BBS gave the plot of that game away, and much of the plot was predictable.
