Chapter 3: Found

(Kaze POV)
My eyes flew open and my body jerked forward, trying to ward off the darkness. I looked around and realized that I was on top of the clock tower in Twilight Town, where I had fallen asleep. I really couldn’t tell what time it was since it was always twilight here. I stood and looked behind me at the big clock, it read 4:35 pm. I had only been asleep for five minutes, so how did all those things happen in that amount of time?
“Geez, I can’t leave you alone for five minutes without you falling asleep.” I twist my head around and find Siefer standing cross armed, giving me a dirty look. Suddenly I got angry.
“Siefer, what did you slip me?!?” He took a step back, his look turning from stern to confused. Of course then I was confused.
“What are you talking about?? I went to get us some sodas and I come back to find you sleeping. I was just about to leave but you jerked out of a dream.” So that dream was made up in my own head? I really need to stop watching horror movies.
“Never mind, I need to get going.” I stated simply, not wanting to be asked questions.
“Wait Kaze.....” He tried to stop me but I just really wanted to go home. What had that dream meant. That little girl seemed familiar but I just didn’t know where from. To add to my confusion, what the heck was with the keyblade and all the shadows. I just kept pondering the whole thing as I made my way down the stairs and into the street. The street was loaded with people but I was used to it.
“Kaze!” Yelled Siefer and I turned to see where he was. I was still walking so I wasn’t paying attention to where I was walking. Suddenly I find myself on my butt. I look across from my body and find that I had slammed into some cloaked dude.
“Sorry.” I quickly said. This guy was weird looking. He had blue hair and was walking with some mouse.
“Watch where you’re going, you dumb brat!” I got up and ran past them, hoping that Siefer wouldn’t catch up. My head hurt enough from having to actually think about a dream.

(Sora POV)
I was finally going to see Riku. I couldn’t believe that I wouldn’t have to look for him. As we started to land in Twilight Town, I opened the ship’s doors early. I jumped out and summoned Dumbo to catch me and help me located Riku. We flew over the Town, which was shrouded in twilight even though it was the middle of the day. I panned the crowded streets, my heart sinking with every second I couldn’t spot my long lost friend. I decided to land Dumbo near the clock tower, the biggest building in the town. Suddenly a blond haired kid ran past me. I ignored it, almost jealous of him; he didn’t have to worry about saving people he loved. I turned to go the other direction until I heard a very familiar voice.
“Watch where you’re going, you dumb brat!” It was Riku. I ran towards the direction of his voice, hoping my mind wasn’t playing games with me. I push may way past a couple of people, getting a couple of stern glances. Suddenly he comes into my view. Down on his butt with a black cloak on. King Mickey was by his side but I really didn’t care.
“Riku!!” I yelled, hoping to get his attention. His head shot up and his eyes dashed around madly, looking for me. Then his eyes met mine and I went balistic. I run over to him and give him a high five.
“Man am I glad to see you!! I have so much to tell you!” Riku is just as happy as I am, a smile going from ear to ear.
“Never thought you would get here so soon. I know how lazy you are.” He joked. I laughed and fake punched him in the arm. I helped him get up and we started to walk away.
“Sorry to ruin your reunion but I think you are forgetting me.” Me and Riku turn back and find the King giving us a half smile. I suddenly feel very embarrassed, how could I forget the King!
“I’m sorry your Majesty, I guess I got caught up in seeing Riku again.” I laughed. He shook his head and we all started to walk towards the clock tower. Things were finally starting to look like they would turn out for the better. We decided to sit on the steps of the clock tower. I thought it would be a good idea since I could tell Riku my story and we could wait for Donald and Goofy there.
“So Sora, what have you been doing the past couple of months?” Riku looked at me like he honestly wanted to know. I really wasn’t sure if I should tell him, since I had killed him in my dreams without a second thought.
“Well it began when I arrived in Traverse Town...right after Kingdom Hearts was sealed.”

“...and then Shiranai teleported away.” My story was finished and I took in a big breath of air. I looked over at Riku. Disbelieve and horror was dancing in his eyes.
“Sora...I had no idea. I thought I had it rough but....” I paused a moment, carefully choosing his words. “I would never have said any of that to you. I know you are trying your best to protect Kairi and Destiny Island is the best place for her right now.” Relief rushed through my body. I was worried that was how Riku really felt, that he thought I really didn’t care about Kairi. He saw my body unwind from the stress and laughed.
“Don’t worry about it. If I thought you couldn’t take care of Kairi, I never would have asked you to do it in the first place.” We just laughed. I looked out onto the town a thought of times when the three of us would laugh like this. Maybe soon we would be able to do it again. I then heard the quacks of my duck friend and was sure that Goofy was close behind.
“Hey guys! Over here!!” I yelled out to them, getting their attention immediately. Their attention quickly shifted from me to the King. They ran at us at a mad pace.
“Your Majesty!!!” They both yelled and all I could do was smile. Nothing could be better, except if Kairi was here to share in my happiness.
