I think there may be something to do with Kairi being a PoH here. This is a very breif and crap theory, but it's something to think about.

Naminé is blonde and light, Xion is dark haired and has dark clothing (because of the Organization duh, but still ) There is definitely a contrast between the 2, especially if you saw them standing side by side, with their similar faces and hairstyles, yet completely opposite colour themes. Why the hell did a blonde Naminé come from red haired Kairi anyway? Definitely strange for a Nobody, we all know that Naminé is strange, but why blonde of all colours? Unless she's the opposite of another Nobody...

If they both came from Kairi (due to her being a PoH or something like that) then they may be the polar opposites of each other. Kairi's 2 sides. I guess Xion could have spawned from her darkness or negative side.

So basically to all the Kairi haters, be open minded, Xion may even deepen Kairi's involvement in the plot.

This is just my guess, but Nami = blond, because of 'The Ven Factor' (she is made up of Sora's B+S after all)

Because Nami was affected by it. That was my basis for assuming that.
That, and it would be impossible for Sora to have Ven's heart inside of him.
And, it would explain why Roxas ends up looking like him, because Roxas is Sora's B+S

Well perhaps Xion is what became of the part of Kairi's heart that didn't come from Sora's fusion with Kairi/Ven/everyone.

As of today I'm convinced that Xion is an opposite of Naminé in someway, and is a Nobody of Kairi aswell.

Naminé = Blonde with white clothing
Xion = Black hair with black clothing

They both look like Kairi...

It just fits together nicely for me. Will probably be something different, but I'm sure she has SOMETHING to do with Naminé and/or Kairi.

I don't really have an elaboration, besides, Ven being sealed inside Sora, now matter how likely it is, it's still a theory. If Ven being inside Sora, and Naminé being made from them, is what made Naminé blonde (which is in itself a theory) then perhaps Xion is what was left of Kairi that Naminé didn't get, the part of Kairi that was without Sora.

She's cute! Yessss...Finally! A picture! I know it's unofficial and all, but I can't help but be excited! Of all the new games, Days is what I'm looking forward to the most! XD
