Dragon Knights: And then there were Three

The Seal of the Light Dragon Shin has long ago been broken by the Dragon Lord Lykouleon. The Seal of the Fire Dragon Honoo has been broken, and was given to Rath, the humanoid Yokai child. The Seal of the Water Dragon Kahaku has just recently been broken by Rune, the Elfin Prince. But the Seals of the Earth Dragon Riku and Wind Dragon Hayate have not yet been broken. NOTE: If you have read the English versions of the Dragon Knights manga, they will tell you that the names of the Dragons will be according to their elements (eg Earth Dragon’s name is Earth etc) but the Japanese version will have the names I have given you. These names have been directly changed from Kanji, and we will be using these names.

Rules:
1- No powerplaying or godmoding
2- Romance is allowed, but I don’t think we’ll need it.
3- Wait for your made-ups to be accepted. Only Thatz, Rath, Gil and Rune will be allowed to have Dragons. Thatz is not in the story yet, so he is off limits.
4- Resist being a Yokai, please (unless you’re playing as Bierezz) because most of this will take place inside the Dragon Castle. If you have read the manga, you would know the reason.
5- Swearing is allowed, but I don’t think anyone but Thatz would be doing any swearing. Cesia would, but she’s not in the story yet. No way would Rune, and Rath is too young. We all know our responsible *cough* *cough* Dragon Lord would not swear (not in front of Alfeegi, at least.) So pretty much no one would swear.
6- Be at least semi-literate. As in at least 3 or 4 lines.
7- Have yourself read at least up to the manga volumes 4 or 5 before joining, and research a little. I’ve only read up to the number 4, but I’ve researched so I pretty much know everything there is to know about Dragon Knights.
8- Only have a maximum of two characters. (Exception for me since I have Rath and I have to play Honoo and Crewger as well.)
9- Put "" when your character talks and describe the way your character moves, not just the ** thing.
10- Post ‘Kharl created Rath’ if you have read these rules.
11- Have fun!

OOC: Ten years later, then you make this thread! Do you know how long I had to wait?
IC: He couldn’t believe it. Him, Rune, an elf, chosen by the Water Dragon Kahaku to be its Knight. He let the wind pass through the blinds of his bedroom sweep gently across his face. Now that he was a Dragon Knight, he had to live with the Dragon Lord Lykouleon inside the Dragon Castle. His new sword was lying against the door. Rune knew that Kahaku lay sleeping inside the steel of the blade, but it was still a little hard to understand. Runwalk had told him that he and another boy were the only Dragon Knights. What was his name? Rath, wasn’t it? He looked like a very small boy, probably around seven. His Fire Dragon was always out of its sword, and a white dog always followed him. His thoughts were interrupted by a few sniffles outside. Being an elf, he had perfect hearing. Out of Rune’s curiosity, he put on his slippers, tied a robe around his bare torso and made it for the stairs.

A small boy was outside, in the Dragon Castle’s garden. Honoo was not with him, like it usually was, and neither was his dog, Crewger. He just sat there on a boulder, beside a roughly cut stone that stuck out of the ground. “Illuser…” he whispered. “I wish I could resurrect you. Then Crewger would be…happy.” Tears sprung into his eyes. They rolled over his cheeks and down to his little chin. “It’s all Lykouleon’s fault.” He wiped his eyes. “His entire fault.” The boy had crimson red eyes and a head of scruffy black hair, a part of his fringe white. His skin was very pale. He was wearing his pyjamas. He reached out to touch the tomb stone, but his fingers hesitated. He could feel the presence of someone behind him.

Rune looked at the small boy. It was Rath Illuser. He then looked to the tombstone. Was it the grave of one of the Dragon Officers? Rune could not be sure, he could not see too well. It was dark. But the Rath boy was crying. He could hear that from a mile away. In front of the Dragon Officers this kid was a trouble maker. He constantly went out without permission to go and hunt demons. He never put Honoo into its sword, and was always running away. And from what Rune knew, he played practical jokes on the Dragon Officers quite a lot too. Rath was not the kind of boy Rune expected to cry. It was like there were two sides to him.
