Dive to the Heart

Whose dive to the heart do you want to see the most in KH3? I want to see Xehanort's personally. I think it'd be cool if Sora and Xehanorts final fight takes place there.

Maybe it's not specific to this, but my body is ready for another Sora/Roxas fight on those platforms.

I always liked the dramatic feel the dives had. That battle and the one between Ventus and Vanitas were really cool.

I could see a Dive happening as the final stage of the final boss, but I kinda want that to take place in Destiny Islands so... eeh... but I could see another Dive coming up when Sora and the others are trying to recover the "tormented ones," several of which are stuck right in Sora's heart right now. What would initiate the dive? Why would they be going in there to find people, and how would they extract them once they did? I have absolutely no idea.

I continue to marvel at how the Stations of Awakening have managed to retain their eerie, ominous, and yet mystifying atmosphere over the years. They've been used so many times as stages for epic Battle of the Mind showdowns and confusing intros, but they always manage to give a strong layer of intensity or mystery to every event that's happened on one of them.

It'd be neat to see young Xehanort have a dive to the heart if we really do get to play him in the prologue. Maybe it'll be part of what helps us learn why he's so obsessed with Kingdom Hearts and the darkness?

But more than that, I wanna see Kairi's. I wonder what it's like in the heart of someone who has no darkness?

The fight could still take place on Destiny Islands but the last stage of the fight needs to be a dive into Xehanort's darkness infused heart. I kinda picture it like Cloud finishing off Sephiroth at the end of FFVII.

The problem is that there isn't a single place or person that this guy actually cares about, so I'm having trouble coming up with much past the image of a snoozing Trollanort on a round, darkened background. ... Well, now that I think about it, I think he saw Eraqus as a younger brother before he became completely obsessed with triggering Armageddon, but that's pretty much it.

I'd like a revisit to Sora's for the character-building tutorial part of the game. Hell, I've always had the idea that a Dive into the Heart that's always accessible for grinding/perk and upgrade decisions would be really neat. When ever Sora reaches a major level milestone (e.g. 10, 20, 30) he'd be able to go into his Dive into the Heart and pick a new special milestone ability. This'd add hella replay value and allow nerds to argue which abilities were the best for years to come.

Guys you forgot one person, Jasmine. With the released art material the dives of five princesses have been revealed. I want to see Kairi and Jasmine's dives, since we already know what Alice's would've looked like.

Jasmines station would probably be a magic carpet ride if I had to guess. If not that then maybe her and that tiger of hers sitting by the fountain.

Uh, there are some blank Awakening Station templates around the net that can be used as a base for creating an own unique one.

It has been a while, 2011 or 2012 I think, when I still had more time at hand, but I actually did made an awakening station for Roxas back then.

I still have it saved on my own computer alongside some other self-made KH graphics, so I could show it off once I'm at home again and re-upload it somewhere...

What makes you think that? I'd say it's about as possible as anyone else's. I'm pretty sure it would look similar to Sora's, just with Riku in the foreground and the images of Mickey, Kairi and Sora off in the background of Destiny Islands.

I hope we get another Dive to the Heart. Whether as a cutscene, a battle, or character building. Between the visuals and music, it's just one of my favorite things in KH. I'd love to see Lea's, though.

I would like to see Donald and Goofy's, especially Goofy's. Does he have Max off in the corner with the rest of his important people, or would they leave him out of it? I could see Donald's just being cluttered with people, to his nephews, his uncle, Daisy, ect.

i want to see this now. it actually reminds me of how skyrim kind of functioned level-wise.

but regardless, they need to bring it back for III. not only do i want to see it in the new art style, it was just so mystical and awesome. it can be xehanort's station of awakening for the beginning of the game like mega said, showing what changed in him way back when. there was an old theory that the dark guardian latched onto YMX in the lanes between and corrupted him but that's like the old "evil behind the evil" shit i don't like.
