Dissidia: Kingdom Hearts

What if they made a Dissidia Kingdom Hearts version? Do you think it'll make a good game? I personally think it will. Think about it: Sora, Xemnas, Xehanort, Riku, Roxas, etc. fighting it out with their keyblades. Combos, magic, light, darkness..fights in TWTNW, End of The World, etc. It'll be awesome! What do you guys think?

This, there was a fake video made a long time ago. And yea, Disney does not want them fighting like that. I can't find the logic in it exactly, since I don't think it would be too violent.

Pssssssssssssh I hate the Disney of today. They're way too PC and fluff. The 90's Disney would do it in a heartbeat.

They even made a reference to Mortal Kombat a very extremely violent R18 fighting game in a Mickey Mouse short Runaway Brain. It was all Snow White style; very awesome.

Today's Disney : Ohhh noooes a kiddy might pick a sword and might break somebody's arrrmm. Boo whooo, whooo.

It's less about them worrying about kids picking up weapons and killing each other, it's all about brand management and the characters that represent that brand.

Exactly. People would OBVIOUSLY want Mickey in it, so try to picture Mickey hitting WITH ALL OF HIS STRENGTH another character. There's a difference between hitting a person and hitting something like a Heartless/Nobody/Unverse/Dream Eater, seeing as how, when you hit them, they disappear and leave a smoke. Now try to picture Mickey hitting Sora. With his Keyblade. In the stomach. Was it nice? Maybe you didn't give it much thought, but that was you as an individual. Try to picture MILLIONS of players worldwide watching Mickey hit someone else with his Keyblade through a screen or trailer. And with how Yellow the Media is nowadays, I can practically imagine the headlines: Disney gives the green light for a violence-oriented video game. What will our kids learn from our childhood heroes? Then a lot of people will start bitching as to how family-oriented Disney used to be and blablabla.

A DISSIDIA Kingdom Hearts is possible, but SE and Disney would have to go through A LOT of discussion, and honestly, all that time spent in negotiations could be spent on brainstorming over more fresh and revolutionary ideas such as a new development-engine and bettering their current franchises or making new ones.

If it were just KH original characters, I don't think Disney would care, but a Dissidia KH would not be complete without Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Maleficent, and Pete, and Disney simply would not allow them to be included.

Exactly. I'm not having a hard time picturing Riku having an argument with Ansem SoD at Cosmos's stage, but a KH without Disney sounds a bit empty.
