Digimon Tamers: Havoc

As Digimon Tamers came to a close the main protagonist, Takato, finds a small portal to the digital world in Gulimon's old hideout. The portal is too small to fit through, thus the digimon cannot come back, but it exists none the less. In another city, Hokkaido, there is another portal that has appeared. A larger one, that digimon can pass through.

Fast forward four years.

There was a massive cover up of the D-reaper incident. The entire world, besides the tamers and their families, think that it was just one big stunt that grew out of control in order to promote a new digimon movie. Many important people in the entertainment industry (hired by hypnos as scapegoats) were sued and some lost their jobs over it, but once again Digimon aren’t real in the public eye.

Takato Matsuki has moved away with his parents to this currently quiet (by city standards) city. Its been years since he’s seen his beloved Guilmon and he doubts he’ll ever see him again. So he’s grown up, still playing the digimon card game and watching the show up until his big move to the city. He’s sad to say goodbye to his friends, friends that he’s gone through so much with, but he’s learned by now that you don’t always get to stay with the companions that you love the most. So Takato enters high school and makes friends and tries to decide what he wants to do with his life.

But then one day he has a dream.

A dream about a digital field appearing in town and a digimon coming into the real world to “scout things out”. But then another digimon appears, along with a human partner with a D-arc but his D-arc is red and black instead of the white color scheme that Takato’s digivice used to have. The boy’s digimon defeats the scout and absorbs its data and Takato wakes up. The next day he is contacted by Yamaki who states that a wild one appeared in Takato’s city and it had a hazard symbol on its forehead but was deleted quickly by another digimon. Takato tells him about this dream and how this happened before he met Rika as well, he also tells him that the digimon was a scout to look around the town. Yamaki says for Takato to keep his eyes peeled and that he’ll do everything he can to find out what’s happening and confirms that everything is quiet in Takato’s old hometown.

A few days pass by with nothing happening and no information surfacing on Yamaki’s end until Calumon appears, breaking into the ex-tamer’s room and telling him of big trouble that’s surfacing in the digital world that could spell the end of both worlds and that he’s been sent by the sovereigns to tell Takato the head tamer about it. Corrupted hazard digimon are appearing more and more often and seem to be rallying around a leader of some sort. They’ve found a way into the human world and if left to their own devices trouble will arise. Takato, knowing all too well how dangerous such digimon are, calls Yamaki and tells him the story. Yamaki remembers the tamer that Takato mentioned and states that if there’s one tamer and new D-arc there must be more of them out there. He tells Takato to rally these new tamers and to teach them everything he knows in order to combat this new threat.

Which is where we come into the picture.

Re: Digimon

Tamer

Name: Carter Hosshin

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: Carter has long dark brown curtained hair with streaks of black in it and light green eyes. He’s five foot nine and has a slim physique, despite the fact that he eats a lot. Normally Carter dresses in a red shirt, black jeans and black shoes, since red is his favorite color. When he goes into digital fields he wears black and red sunglasses.

Personality: Carter is impulsive and a loose cannon. He desperately wants to be a hero and save people, always aggressive and headstrong. He’s a quick thinker, being far from stupid, yet his plans are rather simplistic and he does things his own way, ignoring advice from exsperanced seasoned companions or mentors. None the less Carter has a strong code and sense of justice and refuses to have his digimon attack another while its down or its back is turned.

D-arc color: Red and Black

Cards on your person:

Hyper Sonic: Greatly increases speed with Hyper Accel

Power: Increases power

Thor’s hammer: Gives digimon Zudomon's ‘Thor's Hammer’ to use in battle

Frigimon's Subzero Ice Punch: Grants digimon Frigimon's "Subzero Ice Punch"

Alias!: Creates a clone to attack the enemy

Defense: Increases defense

Digi-evolution: Self explanatory. Useless at first

Bio: When Carter was little his mother was mugged in the street, beaten by the thugs and robbed. She spent a fortnight in the hospital and the robbers were never caught, the police being to busy to really try and hunt down some random thugs. This incident left a bad taste in Carter’s mouth when it came to people who break the law as he sees it and so has developed a rather strong sense of justice. At the same time, he has a far colder side towards anyone he has a problem with and is known to hold grudges. Carter has been a fan of digimon ever since he was a kid. He collected the cards, watched the show, played the games and was constantly getting his toy digivices and cards confiscated because he brought them to school. He’d even seen the feature length, controversial D-reaper movie seventeen times!

One day, Carter is on his way home from school when he notices a crowd gathered around a burning building, fire fighters are trying to put out the blaze but it won’t go out no matter how much water they put on it. As a parent cries for her child Carter rushes in, dropping his bags and charges headlong into the building, ignoring the calls of the fire fighters (“Have you lost your mind?!”) Carter finds the girl and is about to get over to her when suddenly the flames leap at him as if something’s directing them. Everything seems to slow down and Carter’s life flashes before his eyes as he wishes there was a way for him to help people. So no one ever has to hurt the way he did when his own mother was in such danger and the authorities couldn’t do anything. There’s a flash of light and Carter wakes up in the hospital, recovering from breathing in so much smoke and mild burns. Next to him is a blue card. Carter scans the card through his card reader and the reader transforms into a black and red device. Carter gets out of the hospital after about a week and is grounded by his father for doing something so incredibly dangerous.

One night Carter’s digivice starts to light up and beep. Carter examines it and presses a button on it and a hologram display of Bearmon appears, along with an arrow pointing out towards a very foggy area across town. Carter races over there, following the compass and inside of the fog is Bearmon. But the digimon looks different than the picture provided by the digivice. Its eyes are glowing red and on its chest is a hazard symbol, also glowing red. The bearmon attacks Carter, who ducks and weaves out of the way as his digivice beeps and whistles. Carter points the device at Bearmon as it tries to rush him, screen up and a symbol shoots out of it, and hits the hazard sign, freezing the digimon in place. Bearmon’s voice sounds in Carter’s head, pleading for him to end her torment. Carter’s heart goes out as he desperately wishes there was a way to help. The two connect and Bearmon is engulfed in light, the hazard symbol vanishing and its eyes turning back to her normal color.

From that day forward, Bearmon became Carter’s partner and a few weeks have passed. On his way home from school one day Carter is approached by a boy wearing a strange pair of goggles...

She is caring and understanding and sometimes acts as Carter's voice of reason when he gets himself into dangerous situations. Bio: Axel had whatever he wanted growing up. New game, HIS. New clothes, HIS. Gokart without a speed cap, HIS. What he didnt have, a good attitude. Axel was known as the 'asshole'. Dont get him wrong, he hates the title. It is just whenever he gets around anyone he usually says something mean or rude and then.. 'Asshole' follows, or bastard, or some other name referring to him sucking as a person.

Eventually high school came. He began to get better at filtering his thoughts. Most still true to the fullest extent. Nevertheless he still had to watch what he said or 'the name' would return. Axel left school one day just after gym. He was skipping yes but he needed a break. He wasnt going to the arcade, or to see a movie. He just needed a walk. Hands in his pockets he walked down the street. Passing one person after the other. He was lost in thought, that was until something caught his eye. He saw two teens from his school playing a card game. He had a pretty good idea what that game was. Digimon. He had a few cards, ok so he was a 'closet expert'. Aside from his cold exterior he loved the game. It was an escape for him. Trouble was if he went and challenged them word would get out that he wasnt the badass everyone thought he was. He didnt care, he walked over and pulled out his cards.

"Hey can I play?"

They both laughed, "right, as if you would ever play with us. Asshole" they mocked.

There was that name again. They grabbed their cards and left. He would have to kick their ass next time he saw them. As he walked over to where they were sitting he sat down and pulled his cards out. He wasnt an asshole he thought to himself as he thumbed through his cards. They were, he just didnt always say the right thing. He stretched his legs out and his shoe hit something metal. He bent down to look under the table to see what it was. The guys that were there previous had left a card reader on the ground. He picked it up and sat it on the table. As he did he began to slide one card after another till he had three left, then two then one. the last card wasnt one he remembered. It was solid blue and when he moved it from side to side a holographic symbol would show. He shrugged and slid the card. The Machine went crazy then it transformed into a weird hand held thingy. Then seemingly out of nowhere a Digimon appeared. Dracomon.

-Two Months Later-

Axel has learned the name of the device to be a 'D-Arc'. His partner Dracomon came to the Human world from the digital world so together they could be the strongest there ever was. They have been practicing and have defeated a few rogue Digimon that had entered the Human world. Dracomon and Axel had become great friends. Never before had Axel been so close to anyone. They would be the best there ever was. That was a fact!

Hmmm, well if you say so.... I take this premise of a coverup as rather strained. It's just hard to believe that people could buy that it was all fake, considering the amount of money it would have taken to create all of that, the involvement of the militia, and the large number of abnormalities floating around even before the D-Reaper appeared. It also doesn't seem like HYPNOS to cover it up: they even went as far as to broadcast the battles on television, you think they'd want people to know.

But that's just my two cents. Everything else is rather sound in my opinion, and I'm trying to narrow down which Digimon I want to use as I type this.

Sending out my soul to worlds more beautiful
I have read and accepted the rules above

Name: Mystearica (Mist) Hawthorne

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Appearance: Long, straight brown hair and intense blue eyes. Her bangs cover her left eye, making it harder for others to guess what she's thinking. She is fair skinned, standing at 5'4" in height and slim in build. She is well-developed for a girl her age, now, let's talk about her clothing, shall we? Mist wears black, wrist length gloves and long white sleeves that exposes her shoulders. A white shirt-coat combination with a dark red collar, this also reveals a tiny bit of her midriff but mainly exposes her back. Black boot jeans (with a dark red and white design on the right leg) rests on her hips, she wears black ankle boots that have a minor heel to them. To wrap up her appearance, Mist wears a pale ribbon around her neck with a pale green-yellow stone in the center. There's also this strange mark on her right shoulder. What could it possibly mean? Oh yeah, her nails can sometimes be seen painted black; generally used as a warning to leave her alone.
so0j1l.jpg

Personality: Calm and collected, Mist is very protective of those she cares about. She refuses to let anyone see her weak; the only one that has seen her like that is her father. She is intelligent and quick to defend those in a sticky situation, quite often throwing her own safety out the window. Mist's pretty quite and observant; she's also intelligent despite her age and seems to know how to help her friends out when they need it. Although at the same time, she knows when it's best to leave something alone for the time being. She could be called cold, but that's not true. A secret romantic, she's a big daydreamer; she's also very curious and can sometimes land herself in major trouble. Mist cares deeply for her friends, and is willing to do anything to protect them and her "father".

D-arc color: Purple and Black

Cards on your person:

Speed: Increases Gatomon's speed.

Hyperspeed: Greatly increases Angewomon/Gatomon's speed with hyper speed.

Radiant Fate: Gives Angewomon/Gatomon a protective and empowering light aura.

Crystal Fire: Greatly increases Gatomon's strength.

Digivolution: Digivolves Salamon to Gatomon.

Speed: Increases Salamon/Gatomon's speed.

Hyper Chip: Increases Salamon/Gatomon's power by 10%.

Bio: Mist has had a fairly normal childhood, she grew close to her younger brother Kadaj and has always been able to see Digimon. She is also well aware of her existence, and doesn't seem to mind. Oops; got off track, anyway...being one of the eldest, Mystearica watched Takato and his friends beat the digi-reaper, silently cheering them, the child was surprised when one of the Sovereign digimon explained the matter of her existence.

Taking it in stride, she stood by her creator's decisions. She noticed the strangeness of the world around her; even noticing the rebellions starting to form. Bringing this to their attention, she was shipped back to the human world; given instructions to track down a boy named Takato. Obeying the orders, she stumbled straight into a fight; rescuing the injured Salamon she nursed it back to health.

Where she learned of the feline-like digimon being her partner. Taken aback, Mist started to protest when a strange silver and black digivice landed on the bed next to her. This messenger business was shaping up to be a pain in the rear. Even though it was hard, Mystearica took it with a grain of salt. She's been searching for the past two weeks, fending off evil digimon and keeping to herself; not quite sure how to manage this mess.

After all, an experiment doesn't have the right to make friends, right?

Other: Mist is considered a traitor by Kadaj and his kind; and she doesn't care one bit. Yet on the flip-side, she worries deeply for her "younger siblings".

Theme Song: Some People by LeAnn Rimes

Hidden Theme: Brother My Brother by Blessed Union of Souls

Battle Theme: Breakin' Dishes by Rihanna

(Digimon info)

Digital Companion: Gatomon (she's strong enough to be usually seen in her champion form)

Digimon: Salamon

Physical description: Salamon

Personality: Where to begin, where to begin? She's a cat. She loves to have fun and even cause trouble, she is also very curious. Protective of her friends, she's very loyal to Mist and follows orders without a second thought. In exchange, Gatomon can tell Mist if there's something troubling her and vice-versa. She can be secretive and closed off; semi-scattered brained, Gatomon is easily able to pick up on how Mist's feeling. While rare, Gatomon can slip into a very dark frame of mind, and when this happens she becomes very closed off.

Champion form: Gatomon

Appearance: Gatomon

Attacks:

Lightning Paw/Lightning Claw: Uses its long claws and attacks the opponent.

Appearance: Angewomon

Attacks:

Holy Air (Saint Air): Creates a ring of energy force that paralyzes her enemies and restores her allies, who can then lend their power to her.

Celestial Arrow (Holy Arrow): Attacks with a powerful lightning-strike that is also known as "Heaven's Punishment".

Battle Theme: Call Me When You're Sober by Evanescence

~--------~

Name: Kadaj

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: Kadaj wears black leather clothing with gauntlets and a coat, which he keeps zipped up. The image of a single wing is sewn on the back of his coat. Tall, he's slender yet muscular build leads many to underestimate him. He has shoulder-length silver hair that partially covers his face and green cat-like eyes. Kadaj's weapon in battle is the Souba, a katana with two parallel blades that he carries in a sheath on his lower back.
20kdmpj.jpg

Personality: Three words: Not all there. He can be calm and collected, only to snap and start doing random things the next. Unpredictable, he is semi-reckless and hot-tempered; yet on the other hand he is gentle and levelheaded. Kadaj has a nasty habit of keeping things to himself, never saying if something's bothering him. Broken, he could be called heartless; while this isn't far from the truth, he does care about a few things. Loyal, Kadaj is pretty secretive about what goes through his mind. He has a minor (depends on your definition) insanity streaks; he does have some honor. He can't really bring himself to attack Mist or someone else he holds close, and as for the thought of abusing Wizardmon? Are you insane?

D-arc color: Grey and Black

Cards on your person:

Aero Wing: Gives Wizardmon AeroVeedramon's "Aero Wings".

Power: Increases Wizardmon's power.

Speed: Increases Wizardmon's speed.

Digivolution: Digivolves Candlemon to Wizardmon.

Targeting: Increases Wizardmon's accuracy.

Hyper Wing: Gives Wizardmon the ability to fly using white wings.

MetalGarurumon Blaster: Grants Wizardmon MetalGarurumon's Metal Blaster.

Bio: Puppet. Tool. Slave. Messenger. Experiment.

Created a year ago, Kadaj hates those words; he isn't a tool for his masters to use whenever they please. He's always been close to Mist, even learning things about the digital and human world because of her. Kadaj can easily recall when things started changing, taking a turn for the worst. He'd been hanging out with Mist and the sky darkened, and it wasn't right for the sun to be setting.

Coming under attack; the teen struggled against the corrupted digimon, getting assistance from Wizardmon. The two bonded quickly, which did prove to be a benefit, learning later on that Mist was supposed to be shipped to the human world. Out of boredom and curiosity, Kadaj started drifting around the digital world.

Slipping in between the two, he learned of what was happening and, seeking away to put an end to things; fell down into a pit of corrupted data. This twisted the boy's mind, reprogramming him in a sense. Kadaj now seeks for a way to erase everything that's a threat, even if it means erasing the very people that created him.

He loves a good race, intelligent, he's willing to solve any problem he's presented with, even if it involves him working with someone he doesn't like. Honorable, he won't an attack an opponent that's down or has their back turned to him. He holds Kadaj in high regards and refuses to leave a friend behind, he can be self-sacrificing, being reverted to his rookie form more than once, and even turning into a digi-egg at one point. Wizardmon is very loyal to those he considers his friends and family, he'll stop at nothing to protect them.

Like the idea. Might join but, felt like pointing out something. In season one (if I remember correctly) the earth was attacked by myotismon and people just simply forgot about it. Then Season 2, the earth was attacked and tons of digimon/digidestined began appearing. Even the military tried to step in and people simply forgot. So it's not at all hard to believe that people would just look past the D-Reaper since every season, no one seems to know anything about digimon or the attacks.

as the epilogue shows for Adventure 02, people do know about digimon and stuff, judging by the fact that they're integrally involved in everything at that point.

also tamers is a different continuity, obviously.

but yeah, people will forget stuff like that easily.

Skitty your approved and I like what I see of your temp so far Jozi (Neku!).

and people have pretty much forgotten, all of the hype and such has gone down after four years and everyone believes the cover up. To most, Digimon is still just a media franchise and not real

Name:
Ryuji Nakamura

Age:
17

Gender:
Male

Appearance:
Ryuji

Clean and orderly is really the only way to describe this guy, when you want to be nice. He stands at roughly five feet and nine inches with his weight proportionate to his height. His hair is always cut short in a military cut. As for his various features, the always has a stern look in his eyes. This is to the point that it is strange to see him with a smile due to the fact that not many people think that he's capable of such a feat. But the only thing not considered to be uniform with his appearance happens to be his eyes. Unlike with many of his race, his eyes are a deep green color. Otherwise he looks like the typical Japanese teen. As for the shape that his body is in, it is obvious that the young man works to maintain peak health.

When it comes to his clothes, there is really not much to say. When he's not wearing his school's uniform he is often seen wearing a simple pair of camouflage pants with an olive green tank top tucked in to the point that it outlines his body nicely. This is kept in check with the fact that he always wears a black leather belt. Going down to his feet, one is not surprised to find that he wears a pair of combat boots tightly laced with the hem of his pants tucked in. It is said that if someone were to look up the word "soldier" in the dictionary, they would see his profile right next to the word.

Personality:
Due in large part to his upbringing, Ryuji takes no lip from anyone that he deems weaker than himself. Because of this, many people confuse him for being mean. But that's not the case. In truth, he does this simply so that he can help that person to grow stronger. And in the event that someone appears to be stronger than himself, he will show that person the utmost respect and carry out any order he is given. But that's not to say that he has the mentality of a mindless soldier. In all actuality he cares deeply for those that he is allied with. He is almost always willing to lend a helping hand and an open ear. He doesn't give his opinions on subjects often, but when he does he tries to makes sure that they are well thought out. Even as one might expect, he's a stickler for rules. He does not like to break rules and will try his best to avoid doing so. In the event that he finds himself breaking a rule that could have been left intact, he will often times turn himself in and accept the punishment.

Bio:
Ryuji was born from a mixed military family. His mother was a soldier in the United States Army while his father was a member of the Japanese Self Defense Force. Because of his place of birth, within the borders of the United States Army base, Ryuji is considered a citizen of both the United States of America and Japan. It's because of this that he spent the majority of the earlier years of his life traveling between the two nations undertaking various forms of training at the hands of his family. But this was to be short-lived on the day that his mother was sent out into an area where the front lines were not clear. Because of this, he went to live with his father in Japan at the age of twelve.

Once he was there his mindset had already been defined to exclude anything childish. That's why when he was given a D-Reader, he never took the device out of the package. Instead he would spend his time when not with his friends or at school training his body and his skills. For years this was the routine for the growing young man until one night when he was awakened by the sounds of gunfire. Thinking that there was someone stupid enough to actually attack the base, he jumped into action and ran outside to find the noise. It was there that he saw a strange looking soldier practicing horrible aim at the shooting range. Taking the necessary precautions, he slowly made his way towards the creature and pinned him to the ground in an effort to apprehend him. But Ryuji didn't count on how strong the creature would be. Because of this the two wrestled with each other until finally they were both worn out. It was through hard breaths that the creature asked Ryuji why the human interrupted his training. This sparked a long argument until the two were almost discovered. This led to Ryuji taking the creature into his own room and hiding him there. That's when he noticed that the D-Reader was not only out of the package, but also sitting on the table next to his bed with a blue card. Curious, Ryuji swiped the card only to obtain the D-Ark.

Somehow the two were bound together from that single swipe. Because of this the two slowly forged a bond of comrades. For a while things were fine until the day that Ryuji came across a strange young man around his own age. Ryuji could never explain what it is that prompted him to speak to the young man, but he did. That's when the young future soldier found out about the Digital world and creatures called Digimon, something that Ryuji always thought was nothing more than a simple child's thing. In truth, Ryuji still thinks of Digimon as nothing more than something for children, but the creatures were best left to those that understood combat.

Forgive me, but i think i'm switching to the other Digimon RP. As much as I like Tamers, the idea of having Neku and Kadaj and stuff in this RP turns me off of it. Sincerest apologies.

I'll be re-appropriating the profile I made here for the other one, mostly because I worked so hard on that one and don't feel like making another. D:
