because in KH1, Riku said that she has fallen to darkness but Kairi heart was in Sora's heart all along. so did she?

She's a princess of heart, made of pure light, so she really can't.. You kinda answered your own question. Her heart took refuge with Sora's.. similar to how Ventus's heart did 10 years before.

Actually, the whole "Kairi and darkness" deal interests me for another reason. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in CoM Riku became able to detect darkness, not recognize people. But he tells Namine that she smells like Kairi, meaning they must have the same amount of darkness. But Kairi is a PoH and Namine is able to use darkness. Can somebody explain it to me?

Kairi is a Princess of Heart, meaning there is no darkness inside her. Riku never said Namine and Kairi smell like darkness, just that they smell the same. This is because Namine was supposedly made from Kairi's heart and Sora's body. But we don't know exactly what Namine is, so it's hard to answer questions about her darkness and such.

I think he meant to say that Riku doesn't have the ability to smell everyone's scent (though I think he could). Only those that are infused with Darkness. In other words, how would he know how Kairi smells at all unless she has darker properties?

Well, Namine opened dark portal, when Riku couldn't. And since Riku's inability was explained as him not belonging to darkness anymore, it's logical to think, that Namine has darkness in her. And now Namine is part of Kairi, who is PoH... But it doesn't answer my previous question.
