I know after KH2 alot of people were really negative on the kh series (and rightfully so). But now with BBS it finnaly seems like the series is going back to once it once was...

I mean we got all this stuff in BBS

-Bigger Worlds
-Harder Difficulty
-Worlds actually having something to do with the plot
-Beautiful new worlds like Land of Departure
-Great cast of new character

and finally and the most important is the fact it really answers the questions we've had, and nicely sets up KH3.

So question with BBS do you believe the series is finnaly heading in the right direction?

I agree, BBS got me back into the series big time(250 out of my 300 posts are around bbs lol). I was actually not going to buy it, but now I'm considering it.

It really repaired the scar that was aptly named "Kingdom Hearts 2".

Scene from Kingdom hearts 2: Malef and Pete are looking towards tons of heartless

The camera angle changes to sora, then back to Malif, ALL of the heartless seem to be gone.

she says :I'll be sending them after Xemnas, yet not a single heartless approaches the Altar of Naught.

When you go back to the screen, both the heartless and Malif are gone, shadows don't even appear alongside the nobodies.

That's "Kingdom Hearts 2"...lol

I do. All of things that you've said add in to this, as well as the fact that this game seems to answer most of our questions. (But then again, it also raises some as well.)

i totally disagree i think kh2 was alot better than kh 1 i mean they fixed the camera added new world new abilities drive forms better plot, but on the other hand i do think that birth by sleep is a great game and that im looking forward to playing it.

Imo it answered way more than it raised, it gave some nice resolution, I'm not downright confused anymore.

I'd give it a definite yes. And it was easily better than KH2, although that's not saying much.

I usually don't make a final opinion until I actually get to experience the game in English and clear up any fuzzies from spoilers but from what I've seen so far, I say yes. It really is better than KH2, but really, it's not hard to be better than KH2.

BbS brought me back into KH, so yes, it definitely did do the franchise a whole world of good in my opinion.

What's with the hate on KH2?
It had a better plot.
You had more control over Sora.
SOME things were hard.
Camera was better.
More variety.
Everything was FLASHY. (I personally don't care too much about difficulty if what I'm doing looks like total rape.)

I never said it did. Whenever I said that, I was referring to the supposed new KH game where Sora goes off to save the sad people. I'm curious about it.

One thing that KH2 did have going for it was it's excellent production value. The cut-scenes were top notch, you could obviously tell Square spent some money into it.

But overall KH2 just failed as a whole. Sure maybe if it was the first title is the series then yeah, but if you compared it to KH1, then it was just a joke...

Personally from what I've seen of BBS, to me it's the closest game that's similar to KH1 (in the quality)...
