My mom thinks Final Fantasy & Kingdom Hearts is wicked. She thinks they are very bad. A friend of mine told me I could get them back. I just need to convince the her.

So if any of you could post some links to like some articles n stuff that proves FF & KH are good then I can get KH2 when it comes out & not die in eternal sadness.

Any help willl be greatly appreceated.

I'm the friend he spoke of. We must do everything that we can to help him!!! We can't let a fellow KH fan never be able to play them again. We must help in every way we can!!! Just put yourself in his shoes. Imagine your mother telling you "You can never play any KH or FF games ever again, because they are evil". How would you feel? I don't know about you, but I'd feel outraged!!!!! We have to find info that will prove her wrong...other than the fact that she's an idiot towards video games...

I'll try to post a link or two later.

I'll help. I don't know much about FF but I can help you with Kingdom Hearts. I can't provide links, but I can help you persuade your mom. Okay........first, tell her that kh is all about the battle between light and darkness. Tell her that the bad guys are of course dark, and the good guy is light. He defends all things good and rightous and is trying to fight the darkness. And of course, in the end, light prevails and good is shared throughout the earth. Plus, it has clasic HARMLESS Disney characters, who are all good. It has Donald, the friendley Mickey, and the lovable Goofy. That's all I have for now. Tell me what your mom says. If you need more help I'm here. Fight the power!

Dragonfly...that was completely useless and you just proved how "brain power" you hold...or lack of...

Anyway.... get out an FF game, and get to a really hard puzzle....and say "These games are good for the brain, they help you think....always thinking." Then get her to try to do the puzzle and watch her fail misserably.

Yeah but apparantly she dhe thinks otherwise. She doesnt like anything "fantasy". She says its a sin. I asked her if Alice in Wonderland is a sin since it is a fantasy. Guess what she said.

Wow, she needs to relax. It aint a sin. Kingdom Hearts don't have fantasy in it. Well it don't have the word fantasy. Well, tell her it is about good and bad and good wins, it's child friendly and it and final fantasy are brain food. Like Banishing Blade said, show how much brain power they have. Plus it's not witchcraft or nuthin, not like Harry Potter.

If your mother is religious(and I assume she is with the evil accusation) ask her to come up with a realist picture of Heaven, with its ten foundations of precious gems, the buildings of gold, and light throughout. Ask her to conjure up an image of a gate made of a single pearl, or a seven-headed dragon.
Final Fantasy is merely one man's fantasy. And when there is a rare innuendo, it is just as quickly thrown out of the text boxes. The fact that Disney helped make Kingdom Hearts kind of guarantees the 'E' rating. If fantasy is a sin, then how can I believe in an immortal God, immortal life, or the whole idea of Christian salvation? If your family isn't Christian, I can happily look up the appropriate religious text.

If fantasy is a sin, then why does Man dream?

So, far, from what I've read of this topic, your mother seemed to be really religious. Have you talked to your father about what she's doing? If Fantasies are sin, then she shouldn't let you read books or your teachers read books to you in class non fiction books.

We are Christians. And I would never watch Harry Potter or LOTR. You all must be pretty shocked at how insane she is.

And I told her that Fantasy is only a dream. Something we make up in our heads to pass the time. We dream every fliping night. But once I say something she knows is right & makes her wrong she stops listening. Luckily I can mention FF to my dad. I just dont know where he stands on the subject.

Your mom needs mental help. Maybe you can convince your father to put her in the asylum.

Politics: Polititains keep promising all those good things and in the end they are only fantasies. ANd your mother had imagination when she was a kid, so she had fantasies... Probably now aswell .... Everything is fantasy .... TV, Movies, Books, Comic Books

Are you gonna get banned from those aswell
