He keeps beating me after I get out of Destiny Island, any advice( he was so much easier on the PS2)

hmm........i had the same problem! This is the technique i used, and i was at level 62!

In your deck use a magic one, like i did!

Put these cards into your deck, to make slieghts:

Mushu, Fire, Fire = Mega-Flare [get a good aim]
Mushu, Fire, Fire = Mega-Flare [get a good aim]
Cloud, Cloud, Cloud = Omnislash
Cure, Cure, Cure = Curaga
Mega-Ether Megalixer, Potion = Holy [get a good aim]
Attack Card (0), Attack Card (0), Attack Card (9) = Ragnarok
Cure, Cure, Cure = Curaga
Elixer
[ADD WHATEVER CARDS YOU FEEL LIKE] make sure you have enough CP for this!

My exact deck i used was, in exact order and on which line!
L = line, KK = Kingdom Key

L1: Mushu, Fire, Fire = Mega-Flare
L2: Mushu, Fire, Fire = Mega-Flare
L3: Cloud, Cloud, Cloud = Omnislash
L4: Cure, Cure, Cure = Curaga
L5: KK(0), KK(0), KK(9) = Ragnarok
L6: Cloud, Cloud, Cloud = Omnislash
L7: Cure, Cure, Fire = Curaga and Fire
L8: Mega-Ether, Megalixer, Potion = Holy
L8: Mega-Ether, Megalixer, Cure = Mega-Ether, Megalixer, Cure
L9: Mega-Ether, Dumbo, Dumbo = Mega-Ether, Splash
L10: Vexen, Oogie Boogie

try and put more cures if you want and try to include the Vexen and the Oogie Boogie card aswell

Ah yes, I had trouble with him as well, anyway, the best thing to do (or how i did it anyway...) is to have a few 0 cards and Card Break his sleights only at first. After a while he'll run out of good cards to sleight with and you can just physical attack em and heal when needed...... Potion, Hi-Potion etc. cards come in handy too.... Keep it up long enough and Riku will go down!
