The Curse of the Sohma Family: the sohma family has lived with their curse for generations. when one of the cursed members is hugged by a person of the opposite gender, or when they are really weak, then transform into an animal of the Chinese Zodiac. obviously they can't let anyone know about this curse, so they try to live normal lives trying to not let people find out.
Basically, the RP is of these peoples lives with their curse, they are of all ages, most of them are teenagers(high schoolers), and there is one person who will find out about their curse, and doesn't get their memory erased. that person (teenager) will end up living with a small group of the Sohmas (3-5 of them in one house)
Rules: all normal rules apply, these are just some I wanted to add.
1. you may be a cursed character and a normal character if you wish, you cannot however control two cursed characters.
2. you may be a sibling of another cursed member if someone else plays that character, example: older brother is the snake played by a person, younger brother is a rat, played by a different person.
3. there is one house called The Main House, were most of the Zodiac members live because they weren't accepted by they're parents/family members.
4. other Zodiac members live in other houses either by the Main House, or somewere else.
5. your character can be completely custom except they can't have any special super-natural powers(like turning invisable) and they must have the hair color that their cursed member before them had (see below)
6. there must be one person who is an adult doctor (in charge of erasing memories)
7. just because the appearences of the members are a certain Gender doesn't mean you have to be that gender (like the cat can be a girl)
8. if a person isn't cursed, no matter who they are, if they trip and you catch them(or vice virsa) or they hug you, you WILL transform. even if that person is your sister.
9. the Zodiac members aren't directly related, they just all have the same last name. so you can have a relationship with another Zodiac member.
10. romance is aloud but keep it PG-13 or under.
11. the cursed members can't turn into their animal at free will
12. the cursed members will tend to attract near by animals(they can't be miles away) like the cat will at some point could be surrounded by cats.
13. the cat is somewhat shunned from society Sohma-wise and can't go to group meetings/the new years banquet that is anually held for the Zodiac members (BTW the cat and the rat naturally hate eachother)
14. family members may/will know about the curse (such as parents or siblings or other Zodiac members) no one else, not close friends, or anything, no one
15. all teenagers go to the same school
16. cursed members will be simular to their animal in human ways, no they don't like chasing the cat Zodiac if they are a dog(same goes for cat and rat) they ARE people, but they have certain qualaties that somewhat show their animal (like the cat likes milk and fish, and the boar tends to charge into things alot, and most members (cat, rat, dog, horse) are fairly faster then the average human.
