Prepare yourself, the end is now.
Prepare yourself, the end is now.
It was raining.
Garforge could only understand only so much as to what was going on. He stared upward, at their world. It was truly broken, smashed apart, and hearts were fleeting from the streets and into the centriptal void that folded the moving pieces around its gravity.
"Just, what happened..."
They were prophets originally. All of them were seen is prosperous in their own right. Two of them, were deans for the school that were rarely ever seen by anyone. Was it mere coincidence? The factions, they were full of children, and the offspring of generations; several before them had undergone leadership and a commitment to upholding their own sentiments of pride be it for themselves or for their ancestors.
To think a conversation with Reforge and Coraleye that morning, would've lead to this? Garforge thought, as he sat at the table. The church was a marvel within itself and everyone that was apart of it helped to maintain its glory and valor. Daemus seated on his right, and Svether on his left. Down the way was Kyoko as well as Renn, and a few other followers.
The first to enter shockingly was Coraleye. Followed behind him, Ulmara his right arm. Avalenn and Cerzi weren't far behind, along with Xarce, Solipher and a good number of VO's followers. Garforge eyed them all one by one, the roughness at times became a little suffocating. Cult's indivuals weren't placeable and outcast, vagrants were tough and brooding.
Finally Reforge arrived at the front with his usual confidence, a pariah as Daemus once inferred. Behind him Erebos their speed demon, and FLLFFL their enigma. In line shortly behind, Riko as well as Sebastian and their lingering followers. With this in place they'd all entered, and took a seat, the more prominent members sat and the idles(npcs) stood at the sides. Reforge at the very end of the table and Coraleye sat at the middle. Garforge was rather serious for a change, he folded his hands together and he looked straight at his brother, and then at Coraleye.
"Friends, Family, Rivals. We're all of those, and we've been this way for years. We aren't in school for another three months. I figured it was time for us to stretch our legs and collaborate for the time being. This door behind me--" Garforge stopped raising his hand over his head without turning.
"Its been said to be the heart of our very world. In the past, not I, not Reforge, and not Coraleye have been able to open its doors. Myths that we've all read, said something amazing lies beyond it, while others say only despair awaits us. As children, faction remnants, keybladers. We just won't take lay our curiousity to rest. We have to know what is what for ourselves."
"You make it sound like we can just open the damn door." Coraleye's smarmy tongue rattled.
"We've tried, meh, if we can't then we can't. I'd still like to try, you already know bro."
Garforge's head tilted as he held Loviembre in his left hand and Hitsun in his right. He spun around, whipping the door with a radiating beam of light. No keyhole in sight, it smashed against the door only to break apart at the seems. He squinted, and sighed, "Sometimes we're really unsure of what our ancestors did to place a lock like this on our home. Maybe they wanted it to say closed."
Footsteps could be heard from the distance. Eyes quickly turning as three hooded figures began to walk in. Through the visage of two of the hoods, Svether looked. Standing up whispering to Garforge, "hey, aren't two of those guys the deans of CDSKA?"
The air felt different as they each stumbled in, forming a line. The crowd seemed to part like the crevice of a door slowly opening. Garforge gripped his fist, as they walked past him as if he were invisible. One, resting his hand on the door, as the others observed. The kids themselves a little confused, but two wrapped up whispers to outwardly make a.
"Can we help you??" Reforge quickly jumped all the way from the other side of the room and crashed landing on the table, proginoskess floating from his left hand.
"We invite ourselves to meetings now? I didn't think adults were bigger assholes than me. Seriously." Coraleye also stood up walked towards the head of the table.
They were silent. Yet spoke all at the same time. "You desire to be connected. So this door will open, with no catalyst...he'll do nicely." they pointed at Reforge.
Garforge raising his arm to bar the direction. "Leave. Now."his grip tightened around Loviembre. One of his eyes perpetuated a teal color, unmasking his heterochromia.
"Expand your horizons, see the true nature of your world...Open."
Upon uttering their final words, the doors were rung upon. Acting as a vaccum for even them, as darkness flooded from its open maw, it sucked in the sanctions of the very chapel. As the children present could only hold on for so long, eventually one by one if not in greater numbers did they tread beyond the heart of their world. What restraints that were put in place, had been lifted, yet weakened for the time being they were.
Upon the soil they now stood. There was a single door, in getting up on their legs this beach was the only thing they had left. Flying through door itself felt strange, as Garforge held his head for a time, getting this massive headache he stared at the door in the mean time. Turning around, to gape and check on everyone else, he took the time.
"Is everyone alright?" he said directed at everyone, though this could be seen as a rhetorical question considering what just happened. He scratched his head, and sighed as he'd an orange in his palm and strangely enough smiled, even in this current turmoil.
