I think Namine looks the way she does because of the plethora of hearts Sora was connected to when he stabbed himself and created the Nobodies.

At the time only Ven and Kairi's hearts were truly "connected" to his own, the other hearts in that scene were in the Keyblade of Heart. (at least that's how I took it) so I get the feeling that's not the case.
